I'm pretty content with all these additions, if their done right. The roster pool just became incredibly deeper, and there's plenty of replay value.

My complaints... I wish their were more teams added that played in the same year. 07-08 Celtics, 07-08 Rockets, 99-00 Raptors, 99-00 Blazers, and the 00-01 Sixers and 00-01 Lakers are the only teams that they have added that play in the same year... (Sixers of course were already in) 99-2000 Knicks would have been a perfect complement to the Raptors. Ehh.

I don't think anyone would he upset if they dropped some teams and added even more current ones, How many people would be upset if they got rid of that 70 Hawks team, the 80's Sixers team without Barkley, the 80's Bucks teams etc. And as much as I love Jordan, we don't need that many teams with Jordan on them.

I wanted the 00-01 Bucks and one of those late 90's early 2000 Knicks squads, maybe they tried, and had some issues with a few players, who knows.

Last thing... it's kind of ridiculous they didn't get one of those title run Spurs teams in there, and I would personally never play with them. But it's kind of a shock, and a bit ridiculous. We don't really need the 12-13 Heat do we?

Still, if this is all done right, close to right, I can't complain, this is really huge of 2k, and I really appreciate it, I know it's not easy to get all these guys on board, or cheap. No other sports game really does this to the degree 2k takes it.

Edit: 03-04 Pistons and 03-04 wolves, I missed that somehow.

Lot of it was also prolly based on past players agreeing to be on it.

Still no 90s Pacers. Maybe next year.

Again I think they choose based on hiw, many players they could get to agree to be in the game. If that wasn't the case we'd see more teams like the 90s Pacers with Reggie Miller .

Classic to me is memorable. Lebron rookie year taking just an average to good team to the finals was quite historic. How many rookies can claim that ?

Yea I was trying to get a running list of all the notable players that are absent.

Kareem/ Alcindor
Barkley
Byron Russell
Greg Ostertag?
Eric Snow
Orlando Woolridge

Am I missing any?

What are you talking about? The Cavs were the 9 seed Lebron's Rookie year.

LeBron was 22 in 2007 it was his 4th year in the league he was not a rookie when he took the Cavaliers to the Finals. Still a highly impressive feat.

Nick Van Exel on 98 Lakers. Assume he will be missing from 03 Mavs too. Hope I am wrong.

The Nets would of been a better fit than the Cavs. But oh well. I played with that Cavs team back in the day.

I'd be really bummed to see any of those 70's and 80's teams removed, for variety is the spice of life. There's so few 70's teams as it is, removing the ones we do have (the one with Pete Maravich, no less) would not be cool.

Regarding the 1985 Sixers team, Charles Barkley is a very easy player to create and add (bald guy, thin mustache, formerly with a lot of his signature styles in the game). Even without him, it's great to have an 80's Spectrum floor template and non-afro Julius Erving (and Moses Malone, Bobby Jones, and Maurice Cheeks).

In short, there's been zero indication that any teams have to go before new ones can be added, so until that becomes absolutely necessary, I do not support the removal of any classic teams.

I think the question we can ask ourselves is, "Would we have preferred 2K kept the 2002 Kings in the game, even without Chris Webber? Or are we glad they're gone?" Keeping that Kings team would have at least given us Mike Bibby, Bobby Jackson, and Peja Stojakovic with authentic jerseys, the actual Kings court that year, and the ability to create a Chris Webber if we chose. Instead, all those options are out the window because the team was pulled.

Just give me create a team with at least 15 slots, let me use NBA logos + uploaded logos, let me get some short shorts, give me WWE 2K16's photo face feature, and maybe double the amount of created players, and

BOOM, more teams.

These selection started off hot but kinda drifted to oh...okay at the end.

Yea, and I should clarify, that I meant if they needed more space, they could ax some of those teams. I completely agree, the more the merrier. If they wanna add one of those terrible Vancouver Grizzlies squads, I'm not against it, but I think the majority of people would rather have more current teams.

There's no indication they are running out of space, I think they just had some licensing issues with some of the teams I wanted.

But no I don't want any of those teams removed either, hell it's cool just having all those bulls teams, and seeing all of Rodman's hairstyles.
