NBA 2K16 Reveals All 12 Teams Added to the Classic Teams List

2K Sports has just revealed the final two teams added to the NBA 2K16 classic teams list. With the '06-'07 Cleveland Cavaliers & '03-'04 Minnesota Timberwolves announced today, here are the 12 confirmed classic teams added to the game.

'06-'07 Cleveland Cavaliers
'03-'04 Minnesota Timberwolves
'04-'05 Phoenix Suns
'05-'06 Miami Heat
'12-'13 Miami Heat
'03-'04 Detroit Pistons
'07-'08 Houston Rockets
'99-'00 Toronto Raptors

They could have done without the Cavs team.....Was hoping for either one of the Nets finals team with Jason Kidd. I think more people wanted that than another Lebron team with no one else but Big Z

Looking back now, I wonder if the '93 Hornets were simply a Greatest Mode replacement team after the 1993 Suns fell through (which would have led to a '93 Suns vs. '93 Bulls contest).

Spurs definitely should of been added (again) if you are going to ride the Heat train twice..either way I can't wait to cool both them down with the 99 Spurs team with a smile on my face.

half of these teams are not classic what about the 92-93 mavs.....92-93-suns...91-92 nets.....reggie miller pacers...webbers kings....any of them?most of these new teams can be created easily with just a few trades man this sucks must have been the cheap thing to do i support nba 2k every year but never get what i ask for.

I would've preferred the 02 Nets instead of the 07 Cavs but it is what it is. Well being that we still don't have the 2000 Pacers that pretty much confirms no Reggie Miller in the game as a replacement for Steve Kerr. That kind of sucks because he was my choice as the replacement. Oh well, I'm sure whoever they choose will fill in just fine.

For people wanting another Spurs team, the Spurs have basically had the same core for over a decade now lol. The 2015 Spurs are basically the 2005 Spurs lol. Swap in a Bruce Bowen here & a Robert Horry there & there's not much difference from their current team lol. Just sayin.....
