NBA 2K16 Adds '99-'00 Raptors & '07-'08 Rockets to the List of Classic Teams

2K Sports has added the '99-'00 Toronto Raptors (previously revealed) & '07-'08 Houston Rockets to the list of classic teams in NBA 2K16.

There will be 12 new classic teams added this year, 6 of them have now been confirmed.

Here is the list of confirmed classic teams so far:

'07-'08 Houston Rockets
'99-'00 Toronto Raptors
'07-08 Boston Celtics
'00-'01 Los Angeles Lakers
'02-'03 Dallas Mavericks
'99-'00 Portland Trail Blazers

Two more teams will be revealed next Thursday.

2004 Wolves and/or Pistons would be sick.
But i wouldn't get too excited for next week.
A wanted team like the 04 Pistons are probably one of the last announcements (if they make it into the game).

Hmm, good eye there. The 2003 Nets and Spurs would both be really cool choices (Spurs beat Dallas in six in that year's conference finals).

Then again, if the '03 Spurs were in, the 2004 Nets would be really cool too if they were paired with, say, the 2004 Detroit Pistons.

So that's, what...... 3 different Dikembe's in the game now?

Outside of the Bulls guys, that's gotta be up there as one of the most in the game, right?

We also get Dikembe's from each part of his career. 2k is turning into the "Life and Times of Dikembe".

Timberwolves are My Team, but I just Love the 03-04 Pistons, I was heartbroken when KG didn't reach the 04 Finals, he deserved it! The Lakers looked like they couldn't be stopped however the The Pistons destroyed them, Best Team I have seen for along Time!

'04 Pistons were a great defense I don't think they crack top 5 teams 2000-2015...

'08 Celtics, '01 Lakers, '13 Heat, '14 Spurs, '15 Warriors all better of the top of my head...

'04 Lakers were supposed to win...Kobe choked terrible series

Assuming the other classic teams all stick around, the 2000 Raptors should mark the third appearance of Charles Oakley as well. Whereas Mutombo essentially looked the same for his entire career, the true test will be how 2K handles an aging Oakley.

He had a 29% 3pt in 07-08. Interested to see what his 3pt rating will be.

They have that Rockets team because that's the year they won 22 straight games and Yao was out for most of those wins
