2K is going to have their work cut out for them on this one lol. I don't know what D got going on here, but damn bruh. This was apparently last night an Adidas game.
Please stop showing 2K14 it's making me sad. How is that game so beautiful compared to 2 years later? It's not like they have limited space so they have to cut graphics or anything..
But I will say that the AD pic looks nearly identical to real life.
I will say the downfall to 2k14 graphics that the players look " too greasy " to a point where you get a shine off almost all of their foreheads . If it was a tad bit dimmer it would be good same could be said for 2k if it was a tad lighter . Then again yall could tune yall TV settings lol
The Curry and Harden pics aren't all too impressive -- to be honest not too noticeable of a difference between 2k15. Particularly Harden -- the skin texture doesn't look as great from that distance, and Harden's face doesn't look all too close to real life (like, his eyes) ...
But, the Davis pic ................. really good skin texture, good facial scan (and hair) and more importantly, the lighting appears much improved (i.e., brighter)
i thought they look all good. if only they can do it consistently and pay attention to all players then it will be perfect. i mean, shaq, galloway and wear look awful in 2k15. in addition to the inability of big man dominating at the post, i just gave up on shaq.
These ninjas even got ashy elbows in the game. Dudes was on here talking about not being impressed by 2K's graphics and these fools got ashy elbows represented hahaha I'm done.
this is definitely the HOF quote of this whole thread lol
+ Steph's face is nice
+ I like the new crowd signs
+ varied height of crowd members
+ Davis' arms and hands have great detail
+ Davis' hair is on point
- except for the arms, the Harden pic looks bad. Everything from skin tone, to cloth texture and lack of wrinkles, to his overly bulbous head, to the general likeness.
- Curry's hair is pretty bad.
- Davis' face looks almost cartoony compared to a real pic and 2k15's version.
- Davis' undershirt doesn't appear as black cloth should, looks more like a wet suit
- The jerseys look more like plastic than hanging cloth.
- middle school lighting
- skin tones are way behind the comp
Maybe i have a higher standard than most, but when you are scanning people from head to toe basically, the bar should be pretty high....
No matter what, graphics are still the least important thing imo.
It looks great. Not incredible but still really great. And that's enough.
Hey, everyone has different standards.....
I personally don't know what planet that Currry screenshot could possibly be bad on.....but every one has different tastes, it is what it is...
I see lighting is going to be this years pre release complaint theme....I'm just hoping we get some gameplay soon...how everything looks/moves in motion are more important than stills to me..
The face scans look good, kind of confused why the full body isn't being shown after promoting body scans but my issues are that outside of the things that are scanned like face body and shoes, everything else is a downgrade compared to what 2k did in 2k14, lighting, courts, and jerseys, all downgraded and it's only looking worse with the faces and bodies getting yearly upgrades, I only hope it's not too late to at least touch up on the lighting before release.
