OSFM 2015 V.2 rosters are available now for MLB 15 The Show.

To download the roster, follow these simple directions:
  • Tab over to the Community tab
  • Go to Vaults
  • Roster Vault
  • Browse Rosters
  • Find the #OSFM2015 V2 roster, created by RIDINDWNKINGSL dated 05/24/15 Download it, save it, enjoy it.
First off I wanna thank everyone who contributed to this set. This version is a completely new base roster than V1. What that means is its based off one of the newest SCEA updates with all ht, wt and body type fixes. So this was another massive project requiring hundreds of hours and I think you will agree it shows. The updates, fixes, corrections and cosmetic changes from V1 to V2 are too massive to list. I hope you enjoy it.

It is another 25 man roster because I wanted to get it out tonight instead of delaying it a day.

Here are some highlights:
  • International Free Agents-FA1
  • 2015 Top 20 MLB draft Prospects in FA1
----------------------------------
  • hundreds of new players, equip edits and position changes
  • up to the minute transaction updates
  • features all SCEA created players from updates
  • SCEA ratings adjustments are in as well as OSFM formulas used in past rosters
This is not another opening day set rather based on current season or within last few days.

This is amazing. Thank you for your time and effort!

Does anyone know why the computer teams in franchise won't add anyone to their 40 man? Guys who are off the 40 man on this set will most likely sit the entire year...

Not sure why, but I know they add to it as other players get hurt and the need to call up to fill the 25 man. I believe some have made a 40 man of these already and are up in the vault.

Is there any way someone can compile a list of the 15 players that should be added back to the 40 man roster after spring training per team? (With all injuries added back to 40 man, may with exception of season ending injuries)

I would do this but I do not have the baseball knowledge to know who to add. I checked MLB.com but it doesnt seem very cut and dry for people who don not follow baseball)

MLB Depth Charts

This is what I'll be using.

If you go through each team's DL and minor league system you can find all the remaining 40-man guys highlighted in a light-brown color. The only exception being the guys in the low minors who may have been put in the Free Agent pool.

What are you guys doing with star players on the 60-day DL?

I'm not really concerned with guy who are going to miss the entire season. I'd figure if they're in A ball this year that the CPU team would be smart enough to work that player back in over the off-season.

But what about somebody like Jose Fernandez?

I would like to see him in the big leagues around his real-life return time of late June or early July. Would the best course of action be to add him to the 40 man, give him an injury that keeps him out around 3 months, and then assign him to the 60-day..?

Yea add him to the 40man before starting franchise, then during during training injure him for the amount of time needed and when he activates from injury he'll be on the mlb team and the cpu will send someone down for him to replace

Anyone planning on releasing a 40-man franchise file?

I just started working on one right now... I'm almost finished with my first division(NL East).

Any chance it's with no injuries? That's what I'm waiting on.

I believe two people have already posted 40 man rosters based on V2.

I am planning on waiting for 55's pitch edit version of this roster, and creating a 40 man roster from that.

Thanks for the hard work again, you guys!

Not sure if I should put corrections in here or not but; You guys have Aaron West on the Astros twice. SP and RP.

Also; Brandon Meredith twice as a 1B and RF.

I think they both kept the injured players out, though. I'm waiting on one with everyone in. I don't care that they're out for the season in real life. I like realism, but I don't go THAT far. Lol!

I'm just getting the guys that I want to make sure end up on 40-man rosters.

For example, I added Jose Fernandez to the 40, promoted him to the MLB, and then put him on the 60-day DL with the longest mid-range type injury I could find... I think it was like 70 something days or so. That way when he's healthy he won't be rotting away in the minors.

I also did the same thing for Zack Wheeler, except I gave him a season ending injury.

I'm not really anal about injuries though. I'm not bothering with any 15-day stuff, just the 60-day ones for all-stars or anyone else good enough that it would bother me if they wound up stuck in the minors.
