NBA 2K15 News Post

NBA 2K15 patch #4 has been released for PlayStation 4 and PC users. It is not available yet for Xbox One users. The patch primarily addresses the shoe issues in the game, more specifically in MyCAREER mode. You can see the workaround here.

After you download it, let us know what you are seeing. Once 2K releases the patch notes, we will update this post.

UPDATE: (via @Ronnie2K) Another thing addressed last night was fix to deal w/ rare occurrences that led to NBA 2K15 MyPARK rep being stuck. Should no longer happen.

I am surprised they released another patch for 2K15. I am just hoping it doesn't affect the shoe workaround or messes up anything else.

Didn't you just make a threat about missing jumpers?

Just trying to underrated your reasoning with this comment

Us XB1 guys have to wait to get a patch again? This is such bs...

It's ALWAYS seemed too fast to me. I've got mine at 45. Anything lower makes the game seem sluggish. Not the players, just the game, if that makes any sense.

Yo guys! When you say the shooting jumpers is too easy post patch, are you talking about real FG % or the user shot timing settings? Coz I always use Real FG %. And ft too. And I haven't tried to play a full game post patch yet. Too busy from work this week.

I played one game and nearly all of my shots were grade B and up. I shot 70% FG% for the whole game. Shots didn't need to be addressed, the game was already getting easy playing on Superstar and sim shooting sliders.

Also, still waiting on some patch notes. The PS4 version was almost 3GB, so that's a lot more than just "shoe issues".

Shot timing is the only one I tested so not sure about Real FG%. However, even my bad shot releases were still going in at a high rate.

Why do patches always have to mess other aspects of the game up??
Exactly, however sliders should be able to fix this to your liking. Overall, i'm interested in the other aspects of the patch that helped the game.

Seriously. 2.84 GB just for shoes fixing? WOW.

It's not just shoe fixing. Regression was tweaked and is way more realistic and better now. Overall, the patch tweaked a lot of things, some for the good and some for the worse.

Just odd they never said a patch would be coming out then they randomly drop one all of sudden after a mycareer glitch is out and they see people getting VC and Badges lol.

@vuje85 and @Luke Skywalker -

Are you all using Real FG% or User Shot Timing? Because using Real FG%, I'm seeing a realistic clip of shots going in...And I have not made any adjustments to the shot sliders. My settings are simply All-Star Sim...The only adjustment I have made in the sliders is actually making Fatigue Rate at 25 to avoid platoon swaps.

You should definitely give Real FG% a try....Since the patch, I have been getting a realistic shot % on a consistent basis. Shot timing is a much trickier mechanic to get a consistent/realistic clip simply because there are more pieces affecting the overall outcome of the shot.

Im glad they got rid of that automatic hesitation dribble move when you're trying to drive on the defender.

We're aware of the issue and have some fixes planned (can't make any promises for this year). This should never happen for a player that isn't in the top 13 in the rotation, as at that point he's not even brought to the arena, let alone allowed to be substituted in. But if he's top-13 and 0 minutes, he might still play sometimes if all the top rotation players are sat down to rest, which is unfortunate for injured players.
Often during 20-30+ point blowouts the star players will still get a ton of minutes. It's weird because in that same game, the bottom guys will always get exactly 1 minute of playing time on the court.

An 'Auto-Rehab injured player' option would be great

I agree, online play is a lot better (haven't played enough offline to comment). I'm destroying people by doing what I've always done, moving the ball, finding open shots, and on-ball defense. Many opponents are completely lost and don't know what to do, since off-balling and zone defenses don't work anymore.

Could've been there before but I see Zach Lavine wearing the new low top Kobe's like he has been. Good one Rob!
