One thing they didn't show is the tilted caps. Is that still going to be in the game or were they not able to do it?

Good to know. I've been asking for this for a few years now.

The past all the pitchers would be sitting on a bench out in left field where the pitchers would warm up. Really hope that's gone

Really wish this would be corrected by now

Everything else looks great!!!

Diamond Dynasty looks fun this year. I truly can't wait for this game anymore.

It was pretty easy to stack your team in past DD's without spending a cent. The whales who spend a thousand dollars are rare and you rarely encounter them. They throw the balance of the game off, but they provide enough revenue to the game makers to where they can be ignored by most, unless you are unlucky and run into them.

I want the game to be balance for those who spend no money, only have preorder/special edition bonuses or send a little money. These make up most of the online population. I want to be able to go into games with teams that only have a few stars and a balanced rotation and actually need to use bullpen arms strategically to win. Not brute force a lineup of all 99s and just out homer my opponent and throw high 101mph fastballs.

The real issue is people getting their accounts hacked which was a huge problem with Fifa and other EA sports games. I don't think DD is that popular (yet) so it may not be a real issue to worry about yet.

Keeping the one DD player is a great idea as it lets you keep that element of the game which was part of the fun. DD for a lot of people was just a create a team mode.

I really hope they balance DD right and make sure it is very hard to field a team of all diamond players, even if you are spending real money. The stacked teams of past DD's made the mode so boring online, everyone had identical teams with identical sidearming 100mph pitchers. But just seeming them open those packs scared me, I hope they scale it down a lot since players never expire.

Equipment is everything people have been begging for, for years and more. It's surprising that they went from barely any licensed equipment to a ton this year and hinted at more to come in the upcoming years.

Wait, what about your DD player?
Him as well but not in the other season modes.

Is the archives stream working for anyone else? I click on the video andit just shows the purple screen with the play button and a slash going through it.

Had some issues with the Twitch link but eventually it worked. Watched the last half then went back and watched from the beginning. The weekly videos is awesome and is something to look forward to each week up until launch.

All the equipment looks good. To me it seems like they add a lot to your player attributes, almost too much. Hopefully there are a lot more lower valued items than what was shown.

By any chance are you on an iOS platform such as an iPhone or iPad? I've been told you need flash player to watch the archived twitch streams which iOS does not support. That is why we are waiting for our ever so thoughtful colleague to put it up on YouTube so we can watch there. Sounds like he's almost done!

Absolutely loved this stream. The equipment makes a huge difference in game because when you see a player with their real life glove and cleat brand it really adds another level of realism and truly looks like a real TV broadcast. Also, with DD this was a mode I scratched the surface in '13 but never got too far into it because of the amount of time it took with each player being created, but I am beyond ecstatic about it being all MLB players (And the DD player is brilliant because I know that I immediately created myself for DD and the "Feed Me" concept for training is by far the most perfect way to go about that).

I had some worries when I saw the equipment screen and did not see any catchers gloves because as a college catcher who owns a Wilson A2000 I was so excited to recreated my real glove in this game. And when I didn't see the catchers gloves in the equipment screen and also not seeing Buster Posey's Rawlings mitt I got scared. But when Lorne went through the catchers equipment and his infielders Wilson A2000 switched to a catchers A2000 I actually smiled and gave a fist pump.

In terms of gameplay/presentation one thing I noticed is that when an outfielder throws back into the infield after an out, the camera locks on to the outfielder and doesn't follow the ball which was beautiful.

I do have 2 questions-

1. Does amount of time played increase chance of collecting a higher level card? For example, after my first exhibition game I can expect to receive a common/bronze card. However after my 300th game overall(exhibition, franchise, rtts,dd) can I expect to have a higher chance to get a silver/gold card?

2. When watching the giants and padres game, did it look like the ball was glowing? Could that just be because it was a day game or is that an option?

Thank You!! Loved the stream! Looking forward to next weeks!

The ball did look like it was glowing. Not that big of a deal but i would prefer to have it off.

Could be high contrast/brightness that we could fix with our own screens.

So the best bat to own is red, and the best batting gloves are a bright yellow.....Thats awesome......... Come on guys don't go down this path. Hopefully the equipment can be customized.
