I thought the one DD player on the team was the Star they created and fed. Also just what are the odds that the game created a random Allen Craig, stuck him on Boston and started him in right field? The odds of that are just astronomical I would think.

Ya that was definitely the real Allen Craig. It had his same player model. It just didn't have his real life picture in yet.

I don't think so, there was confusion from the first Twitch stream where they weren't shown, but you have to remember that most of that stream they were using CPU vs CPU for demo/debug purposes. I believe theSlab or Nemesis confirmed in the Community Day Gameplay thread that the windows are still there. Maybe I read that wrong though...

I'll have to go back and look at the stream. Either way if it is Allen Craig and he didn't have a picture that is due to them showing an unfinished product at the moment.

Edit:went back and looked at it. It is Allen Craig I didn't see the Red Sox logo yesterday when I watched the stream so that's my bad. Idk why they put him at 2B. Nick said they are still tweaking DD right now so I wouldn't read too much into it right now. Also 2B is a secondary position of Craig's in the Show.

Which brings me back to my original question. Was the DD team shown so weak at 2b that the game would put in a player that played something like 41 innings at 2b over 9 games four or five years ago as the starter? Makes me think that it was prioritizing offense over defense by a large, large margin.

Yeah thats where i am confused. Someone said they arent there anymore and the Nemesis said he was surprised no one had brought it up. Then i said atleast no one can complain about the numbers not showing up anymore and Ramone liked the post. Then i saw someone say that a window was still there so i have no idea what is what.

It's because 2B is one of his secondary positions. You can manually change it if you want. Same thing happened with Josh Donaldson moving to catcher in the same lineup.

Curious to see if the player cards will be visible anywhere outside of DD. They are really cool.

Also, I didn't think that licensed equipment would make much of a big deal, but it's a subtle and really cool upgrade from what I have seen so far.

Also, I really liked that backhand and throw across the diamond and the splitscreen / excited lincecum animation were AWESOME.

It's not a big deal to me. More of just a curiosity. It jumped out at me because he was the only one without a portrait and in all the times I watched him play in St. Louis (I am a Cardinals fan) I never remember him playing second. Again, not a big deal.

The baserunnER windows (1st & 3rd base) while batting, are still there. The baserunnING OSD no longer has the player PiP. It has been replaced with a baserunning control PiP. It has info as to which runner you are currently targeting.

He did play a few games at 2nd in 2011 when they were trying to find him at bats.

Improved load times is a big plus for me.

If they do a presentation stream it would only make sense that it would be one of the last ones because a lot of that content gets added near the end. Even when we are at the event we do not get to see much of it until we experience the game in its retail release.

Amen to that. I always prided myself on taking every regular season at bat with my RTTS player and never simming an at bat, but last year I started simming my pinch hitting opportunities because it was not worth the loading times for a single at bat.

Do you like it better this way?

So if I read one of Ramone's posts right, the PS3 version doesn't have the licensed equipment. Why is this? Is it because there is not enough space on the disk or whatever? I'm guessing I answered my own question just want to be positive.

Time and resources my dear Watson. Not enough time and not enough resources to get baserunner gloves in MLB 15. It was actually the number one thing on our list this year for equipment stuff.
I am hoping that if it was #1 this year and did not make it, that it will be like super duper #1 next year?
