NBA Live 15 and First In-Game Update Available Today, Post Your Impressions

NBA Live 15 is available today for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Since more people will have their hands on it today, we figured it would be better to start a fresh new topic.

If you want to read some impressions from the EA Access version, click here. Otherwise, play a few games and post your impressions.

NOTE: If you are looking for the game or demo in the PS Store, they typically update later in the afternoon.

EA Sports has posted their full list of controls for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Below is a list of items that have arrived in the first in-game update:

Updated scanned player heads for D. Rose, J. Noah, K. Leonard, and C. Anthony
Updated San Antonio Spurs Championship jerseys
Cleveland, New Orleans, and Charlotte courts have been updated
Updated jersey icons for MIN alternate, MIA Floridians (Hardwood Classics), PHI road, CLE alt 2
Updated accessory colors for new Cavaliers uniforms
Updated "Pull the Chair" Post Move
Updated catch animations on inbound passes
Updated "Up and Under" layup animations
Updated team show colors for Sacramento
Jordan shoes updated for players in Rookie Showcase.
Steal rating updated for K. Humphries & J. Hamilton
Updated accessories on several players
Updated rosters to reflect recent player moves
Updated player shoes in the All-Star Game
Moved some players to the free agency pool
Updated player portraits in Live Ultimate Team
Info updated on several players, including playstyles, positions, jersey numbers and more
Foot planting with pump fakes has been updated
Shot timing updated for free throws

Yes, your frustrations are very understandable and not without merit. Hell, I've openly voiced mine the past few days as some may know. It is very painful to see our collective efforts in providing constructive feedback being ignored in the past as the 24th letter has pointed out. I just have to cautiously believe what folks like WTF are saying and that EA knows what's at stake here, hope I am not wrong. They did release an initial patch and seem to continually make adjustments in addition to the Synergy updates. We know that a bigger patch that accounts for missing scanned faces and gameplay/bug fixes is in progress. The question now is if they'll address the major concerns with that upcoming release? Also, are more patches slated for the future after the "big" patch? These are questions that have yet to be answered.

Found out that if your in the passing lane and have L2 and the right stick up you will attempt to steal the ball once it's passed . i use to press the steal button in the lane but feed back was to slow or it just never registered.

Hold L2/LT. when they shoot 3, and hold the right stick up in the paint when getting posted up or hold L2 /LT and the left stick towards the baseline and it covers shots and protects against the spin move to the paint. Causes a lot of missed shots.

I did. The halftime show came back for me, but auto replays don't work.

Rewind games finally work.....................but, you are STUCK with EA's settings.

I.e. accelerated clock (kills the experience - get 14 assists or score 41 points in a 20 min game is just stupid).......and it is on PRO level...and the camera can't be changed (stuck on EA Action)............and, worst of all, you are stuck with auto motion not on. I.e. players standing around like robots.

I used the Clippers in a game and was able to steal the ball every time with Chris Paul...........every time I tried.

Rewind could have been great, but it is absolutely terrible because it is locked in to EA's settings.

Yes...not a single bug from 14 was fixed. I naively bought the game just presuming a professional company would clean up the bugs in a game a year later. Wrong. I have bought almost ever LIVE, but the bsame bugs being there are completely unnaceptable.

If the devs read this, note down that you have finally lost a long time customer.

The other game hasn't fixed their online in a decade. Knife cuts both ways.

What does 2k have to do with NBA LIVES faults?
They are two separate games. NBA LIVE hasn't even existed for half of the decade...so attempting to use 2K to excuse any of Lives faults really serves no purpose.

Rewind is a very, very great mode but I will never touch that mode again until they get rid of the accelerated clock!!!!!!!!! IMO you must be a serious "cheeser" to accomplish the goals in the short time

They Nerf to come out and say if shooting, sliders and difficulty settings will be worked on because a die hard like myself isn't have that much fun anymore!!!!!!

I'm doing a bucks dynasty because I needed a challenge but I Sim games at the half becauseiI'm blowing out the rockets, thunder and blazers smh

They needed to make the game harder instead of easier. Can't believe ppl complained and said last year's game was too hard lmao

I'm finding Superstar to be a bit unrealistic. I can't stick to my man on defense and the computer can score in the paint whenever they feel like it.

I am noticing as of late that the CPU is back to some of its old tricks. 3s raining down like water, no inside stopping in the paint and even though I am getting perfect releases (with green below me), my guys are cold. What happened?

I play dynasty (29 games) with the 76ers on Superstar, and season one was a struggle. They just flat out can't shoot the ball, and we ended up in the lottery (5th pick). I had the Cavs by two entering the 4th and lost by 13 under a hail of LBJ and Waiters shots the 76ers just don't rotate fast enough despite having a couple athletic wings in McDaniels and Grant who I use for D.

Anyone else use the Spurs online? I swear Danny Green just....doesn't work lol

I had to have missed 4-5 WIDE open green releases with him the last game I played.

Meanwhile Kyrie on the other side it hitting every thing from LATE to EARLY releases.

I'm starting to wonder if the shot feedback online is accurate. I feel like I have to worry too much about releases instead of focusing on my opponent.

Couple of questions for the community as I think I am going to grab Live here in a hour or two (lunch break)...

1) Can you sim partial games in franchise and then jump in mid-game?

2) I assume you can 'sim to end' once you've started a game?

3) Can you quit a game and resume it later (franchise)?

4) How is the ultimate team mode? I feel like madden's is too intricate, whereas I feel FIFA's is PERFECT. Can you compare?
