I really like the releases better on live than 2k. I never realized that 2k has many releases incredibly too slow .

With that said the releases are a bit too fast here

This game only saving grace is the halftime and post game show. There are games when the game is fun and then there are games were the AI becomes gods. Nick Adams of the Thunder had 20 rebounds against me. And to be honest, Ilbaka was hitting way too many shots against me that he could never hit in real life. It stuff like that, scrub players playing way above themselves because the CPU decided they want to win is what grinds my gears the most.

Also the blatant charging the CPU does that RARELY gets called is another gear grinder. Add to that the ride the invisible wall baseline cheese the CPU loves to do is annoying as hell. EA needs to patch all that stuff. Along with the all of a sudden you can't score in the 4th no matter how close you are to the basket because the CPU decides NO, you will miss everything for the final 8 minutes of the game needs to be patched. Doesn't happen every game, but there are some games where the CPU does that in the 4th.

At this point, I just play the game for the halftime and post game highlight shows.

I have sold mine. I enjoy certain aspects and can overlook other areas not up to par but until there is better player and team differentiation, I just can't continue to play it.

I might pick it up again later down the line but at the moment, it's not NBA Live 15, it's just Basketball Live 15. Too generic.

Steven Adams is a good rebounder he has had multiple double digit rebounds this season.

Yes, that sums up how I feel about it also. It is a fun 'basketball' game...but it is not really an 'NBA' game. The teams are essentially all the same in style. Phoenix and San Antonio....there is no difference and they run identical plays. The game has way, way too few plays to differentiate teams and it gets boring after a few games as you see the cpu play exactly the same as it did regardless of team. Once the presentation wears off, the game gets old fast.

[b]Synergy just doesn't work. It never has.[b]

They would be better off hiring someone like playmakers to add real team styles.

I like how Live's shots look...but I'm not a big fan of the releases...especially online...

Green and Leonard's releases are button taps...and that's being generous...like button grazes lol...just doesn't feel like I'm involved in the shot at all when I'm shooting..

i dont like that sometimes when im trying to dribble moves, the player performs them while facing the wrong direction. He should be either facing the hoop or defender. I should post a video as an example.

No need to post a video because I know exactly what you mean lol

Why that foolishness wasn't fixed from live 14 is puzzling smh

man that's tough....

This is why I've stayed patient and held out so far....

I'm hoping they can do soemthing to make teams and players have real tendencies.

The game seems really similiar to NCAA 10 where all teams did basically the same thing offensively and there was no real player seperation.

I'm just not a fan of Synergy handling most of the action on the floor.

I want a B-Ball game so bad this year but I really haven't been blown away yet from what i've seen.

I played a very defense oriented game against the Lakers last night, very good game! After the game I had to log into the E A servers. There was a quick update and synergy update afterwards. I tried playing another game and although it appeared much smoother, I was no longer able to contain anyone on defense and vise versa for the cpu! This after all the work I put into customizing coaching settings! Extremely frustrating to say the least. I even set the in and off ball pressure to max and it was as if these settings had no effect! Whatis going on? I like that the game is being constantly tweaked but these improvements should not come at the expense of an already weak part of the game, defense! They also don't provide any information regarding what these improvements are so we're stuck guessing. They MUST fix the defense soon as this makes the game a pure arcade run and gun! WTF , please forward this to E A. The free flowing smoother improvement negatively impacts defensive aspects of game. We want a more balanced game and they should constantly strive to achieve this and this is not cutting it as it stands! I was in the process of starting a season but may have to put that on hold now. I thought I had figured out the right coaching defensive settings and that's out the window!

Calvenn, not every single game is going to play the same way. Why don't you try playing 10 games on those settings instead of 1 and see how they feel?

# 952 Calvenn @ 11/14/14 04:42 PM
I should have been more specific with outlining my method of testing and analysis. As an engineer, we always exercise the best practice of applying changes in a very methodical and controlled manner. We also don't intoduce more than one adjustment at a time to allow us to be cognizant of what changes are truly effective.I only apply defensive coaching adjustments to 2 teams or testbeds and work with only those teams for observation in order to limit variability. After playing several games with those 2 teams and feeling confident about my adjustments, I then applied these adjustments to a third team. It was while playing a game with the third team that I noticed this change. This was after an update was applied. I have played several games since with my test teams and the results have been the same. The defense has become more porous!

Hang in there. I think these issues are more than patchable. Hopefully the next patch that releases will fix most of the issues. (Late game a.i, and a few others at least)

Don't forget...dem walls.

Zrohman, let's all hope so. Certainly looking forward to that next patch now more than ever! I will continue to play the game but will limit my play to only "tip off" games until the patch is released or they make further "background" tweaks to address this and other issues.

Looks like Live is not the only game with slow updates. NHL suffers from it to.

# 957 zrohman @ 11/15/14 03:26 AM
The game has only been out for like two weeks. They came out with a patch at launch, and also a couple minor updates after that. Games don't normally come out with patches every week. Last year Live only had like 3 patches. Maybe they need to be a little quicker with a roster update... But that's it... I get it though. I'm awaiting a patch too

I agree wholeheartedly! We should all apply the proper perspective here and take a deep breath. As WTF and some others have pointed out, they appear to be keeping track of the message board and have implemented some changes already based on our feedback. I know it gets frustrating at times because we all see the great potential of this game and franchise. I believe also that most of our concerns will be addressed based on the background activity we're hearing about and witnessing in some instances. So, let's all please exercise some patience as we provide valuable feedback for the betterment of the game!

Being that not a single issue in the bugs and glitches thread was addressed last year, and with those sane issues now occurring in this years game....you'll just have to understand some of the frustration and skepticism....it's an inconvenient truth for the hardcore EA/Live guys but it is what it is...

As a guy that probably sent enough end game issue footage to EA to the point they probably wanted to block me Twitter....its just annoying seeing the issue again in this years installment...and I can see why people feel the way they do...
