Has anyone checked for changes to owner mode finances?

Can't wait to get off work and check this patch out.

It sounds like they fixed QB sig stances, fixed sim stats, and stuff.

I sure hope they did something about offline finances though, because I want to do a Cleveland Browns franchise, but even if I finish with a winning record I still loose money.

*fingers crossed*
Working on it.

Seahawks(me) at Redskins(CPU)
I lost 41-24 on All-Pro with custom sliders.
I only sacked them twice while they sacked me 8 times.
It's too early to tell whether those numbers are due to tighter coverage, better pass blocking, or better QB play, but Kirk Cousins did seen sharp.
I'm a sore loser, but I have to say it felt good to lose on All-Pro when I was trying my hardest to win. Embarrassing, but still good.
Time for CFM!

If it's a patch the notes will be posted at some point today

Gameprep's in game drills are working. It only worked when I started a new franchise. The franchise I was currently playing still freezes.

Put it on default All Pro. Come back with stats because sliders skew things after a patch.

Specifically CPU QB % and User sack totals.

Simmed a season in owner mode with falcons. Entered offseason with 41.2M ranked 23rd in value. Only played coach mode til today, but from what I've read it seems to be an improvement.
Sim Stats are definitely better. Peyton Manning threw for over 5000 and 39 tds, and 5 players over 4000.

Exactly what I'm going to do first. Although I'd imagine putting QB acc back at 50 would show some really high throwing percentages.

Best to know exactly where we stand with the new patch, though.

Speaking of which, I can definitely confirm it's a new patch:

Information shows it as having been updated today. Must have downloaded in standby while I was busy with another brand new game on my PC.

Few observations from the First Half of a new Offline CFM (All-Pro Armor Slider)

- Wind effect is nerfed: 14mph crosswind, straight Kickoff -> within the hashmarks. Field Goal aim at the post not the stands near the corner
- CPU already sacked 3 times
- CPU% over 70 percent for Starter and Backup. Longest Pass 15 yards. Dink and Dunk Galore

been waiting for this day, starting to feel like work could be a slow one, nothing better than a whole day of impressions at OS.

i hope that pesky restart bug was taken care of. since they did the sim stats long ago sever side, i cant wait to check out the qb stances.

did anybody see or test if this fixed the sack issue? I haven't d/led It yet but just curious since they said they was working on fix.

Great news! I had just reached the breaking point with M15 where I was ready to shelve it until the big patch came, and lo, here it is!

Can't wait for some good impressions...

Wonder why the patch is so much bigger on Xbox one?

That's what I was wondering. 3.1gb as opposed to 280(approx)mb is obviously a substantial difference.

As long as this patch fixes the sim stats in CFM, and fixes up the issues with finances in Owner mode, I'm happier than a pig in you know what.

I contemplated calling in sick today, but didn't. Wish I did now.

Really wish EA would have released some patch notes in advance to we knew what to expect. Can't wait for them to release today to see what they've been working on here.

Stats and finances are definitely fixed. Now for gameplay!

I'm telling you guys...you have to start back at Default All Pro with patches. You don't know what they fixed. Isn't A&S Pass Block at like 95? If they fixed QBs to throw more under pressure, and you don't get pressure, then you won't see any changes.

Remember - Game developers tweak the game as it plays on Default. Meaning you need to see gameplay fixes on default first.

Looks like some changes to player upgrade costs. One major one that I noticed are DB coverages are a lot more expensive. This was on an already started Offline CFM. Interesting.

This sounds similar to an adjustment that was rolled out for online CFM a week or two back, so not surprising.

Just some eyeball impressions as my CPU game goes on... GB @ DEN, my two online league teams and the two outside of Dallas I'm most familiar with:

CPU is taking some shots down the field. Both Manning and Rodgers have tried to go deep once each on a play where they got good blocking.

CPU does seem to be a little more aware of the rush. I've seen a couple of passes out of the QB's hand the instant he reached the end of his dropback (even before the hitch step).

However....Manning's been sacked 3 times in the first quarter, Rodgers none so far. Please don't jump to conclusions on that, even one whole game isn't even close to enough to know if sacks are still too high, let alone one quarter.

If anyone wants to watch I can stream the game at my twitch channel (link below). Again, it's CPU vs CPU, on All-Pro default sliders. Please don't ask me to change them because it's supposed to be a baseline for what the new patch affects, as Mill said.
