NBA 2K15 News Post

Chris_Smoove has released another NBA 2K15 video. This one showcases Coaching 101.

Coach satisfaction is new this year and according to Chris, if you play your coaches scheme, your player will play better. If you would rather freestyle your way in games without listening to your coach, you could be traded.

Coaching 101 will pop up whenever your coach wants to change the gameplan. Make sure you watch the video to see how it works.

This is pretty cool you have a coach breaking down a play on what he wants and what he doesnt want to see. Coaching 101 good idea!

Seems pretty cool, a good way to teach people how to play via MyCareer

Not a bad addition especially for newer players...but I hope we're able to skip through this cutscene especially if it shows up every single game.

Okay as someone who was very worried on seeing the first opening cutscene video, this is a potentially awesome surprise. If the coaching points of emphasis are actually based on the strengths/weaknesses of your player, your team, and the other team you're about to play... that's actually the kind of move to realism I always wanted.

And it's these types of cutscenes I'd like to see more of... basketball focused, not cheesy drama focused.

A little bit encouraged.

Hopefully this somehow means coaches will actually call plays and the players will actually listen and run the plays called.

Instead of just freestyling every possession.

Yes, something like this is what I've been dying to see in the mode. I've always wanted it to feel different playing for the Suns versus playing for the Suns. I hope this means that your team will play with different styles and gameplans.

Now this is encouraging. I especially like the fact that there could be halftime adjustments

Anyone notice that Manu shot RIGHT-handed when the coach says "we can't give shooters open looks"?

I actually like this here quite a bit. Kind of reminds me of college hoops at the half how the coach would give you notes on your (the teams)play and what to adjust for the 2nd half

This is nice, but I could see getting tired of this after a while.

It's definitely good for someone with limited basketball knowledge, and like someone else said, as long as I have the option to skip past it after I've played 100 games, then it will be fine.

I'd like some more detailed info though about Mycareer...wish they'd stop beating around the bush and just tell us about ALL the changes and new items implemented this year.

Its great feature, even if it may not be implemented as indepth as it was inadvertedly talked as a wish on a thread a few days ago: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...each-game.html ... a good move indeed 2K.

I think that this having implications to ones MyCareer is also a great move that hopefully could get exponentially expanded on further versions of the game, would also love to see something like this implemented across all game modes, MyGm, MyLeague and even as a stand alone feature, just as what was discussed on that referred thread ...

This makes me be somewhat interested on my career (inspite the limited and scripted story aproach) ... would this be part of what took nost of Da_Czars time and focus ? I can see some relation ... anyways, looking forward for more info regarding this mode, also about this feature, plays (playcalling, schemes/options, functionality, etc) and some video with oncourt action played by sim heads.

Am I the only one that wants this in myleague/mygm?

Reminds me of the Chris Berman weekly highlights from nfl 2k5.. This just tells me that they can do it.. they just dont want to..

This is gonna be nice in 2016/17 season when most of the teams are pretty random or with custom rosters. Nice job VC.

I'm liking that I can go through an actually free agency and also get traded away with out requesting one.... I'm ready to find out more!
