Is the time length as short as previous FIFA demos? IT's kinda frustrating for EA to make them that short, can't get much out of them since it feels like halves last like a minute.

Oh. My. God. This is fraking great. Fantastic. It feels so much better than 14. The ball physics. How players feel/control with the ball. The passing. The shooting. Players getting into space. CPU AI making runs. The goalie. Oh man. This game is fantastic. Now here is hoping CM is just as brilliant as the game play. Can't wait to get the PS4 demo tomorrow to see how differently each one plays. If at all.

Glad to see you here in the FIFA 15 thread! Are you a footie fan as well? After what you did to get EA UFC (along with other OS members) to what it is today (& the EA UFC dev team listening to the community), I look forward to having you on board FIFA 15.

I was not sure at first whether or not to pick up FIFA 15 knowing that PES 15 was coming out (although in November, which is a bummer), but after checking out the goalie video...I gotta give props where props is due...FIFA's goalie play (from those videos) looks stellar...

Really look forward to hearing your thoughts (and our fellow OS brethren)!

Cheers!

THIS IS FANTASTIC NEWS! EA Sports is on a roll (except with NHL 15, but I digress - LOL!)! It sure is an awesome time to be a sports gamer! Thanks for sharing ZO!

By the way...how long are the halves?

That is cool. If pause it and leave it for a moment, a screen saver loads. That is actual highlights of things that have happened in the game so far. Full scree, tv replay style. Its great.

Zo just posted everything I wanted to post. The game feels different than 14

- Players are heavier and there is a better feel of momentum.
- The CPU AI is aggressive on D and that causes them to foul more often.
- THE CPU AI is improved too but I feel that occasionally they dont use the pass enough and over dribble.
- Presentation elements are fantastic.

One question.. Can you choose what stadium you play in? I hated how last year you had to play at the Nou Camp..

Played a game in the rain (looks awesome in Broadcast mode by the way)...the ball was definitely effected by the wet pitch...just feels like a massive improvement over FIFA 14

forgot to add the late goal triggered a 10 men celebration which was nice.

Played 2 matches . I have to say- FIFA 15 feels fantastic. Players are very responsive, they turn more easily. Graphics and presentation are great- the lighting gives it a fresh look. Gameplay is very fluid. I had a lot of fun with my first 2 matches. And the demo is longer than NHL 15 which is a relief. FIFA has ways been my number one game- I can't wait for the full game. Tomorrow morning I will play more and have further impressions.

I know this is just a demo, but man. I could not be happier with this game. Solid 9/10 for the demo.

I love that you can move position on the team management screen mid game. So if you have a defender who is not matching up, you can move a guy over to help prevent him getting beat. Or move a midfielder into space for attacking.

And the ability to change to any, not just one of 5, but any formation at anytime is amazing. I like that I can also give one player specific tactic changes, aside from telling the whole team to defend or attack more.

And the fouls. The CPU actually fouls. I had 5 in the first game I played. 2 of which were in great set piece range for a score.

Game is not even out yet, only played the demo. This is my game of the year. So happy with how this feels on the pitch. All the new animations. How passes are not auto magnetic to players. Guys actually jumping up and trying to control high passes. The ability to run with the ball and not have it shoot 10 feet in front of you. Just so many small things that they changed.

This demo is going to get some wear in the next two weeks. Great job EA Canada

Also I really dig the music. Not sure I how I will feel about in March though.

1. If you have the ball as the cam will your strikers make runs?

2. Do your player go after dead balls or slow open space balls unlike 14 when the would just strafe near it but not go after it.

Yes, they do. I've had multiple situations already where even as a CM where the strikers would position themselves for a through ball, or a pass for a pass back for me on a run. As in they would set themselves up for a pass that would draw the defenders in so I could then pass it back to the open guy for a clear shot.

Yes, but not as much as they should. And if you have two guys in the area is when it becomes a problem. Its like they don't know which one should go fo it, and then it feels like all the past games. But if its just one guy hes gone for it probably 50/50, depending on if hes closer than the defender or not. If he is not he gets in defending position.
Its not perfect, but its better thus far than 14. A lot more lose balls are being ran after by the CPU players.

Love playing on Broadcast camera in this demo...I have to get used to it because I usually never play that way...played Dortmund vs Boca Juniors and got a penalty kick because the Boca defender came in too late in the box.

Have they fixed the angle shots from 14, or the slow roller shot in the box. Basically all the easy shots.
