I can understand that some people want 100% authenticity and little details like fans/cameramen wearing shorts in the snow really kills that for them. For me I hardly ever notice the fans/sidelines I am too busy concentrating on the game at hand plus as a fan of the Patriots I have been to many snow games and there is always quite of few of these fans in the stands:

It's not as widespread as it is in the game but it does happen.

Penalties - Already known they barely touched them.

Sliders - unknown based on how default slider sets like all madden and all pro work. We know the defaults were tweaked.

Formation and Auto Subs - No mention of updates on these. Assumed weren't touched as well.

Slow stuck in Mud - I believe this was fixed in a patch last year.

The Tiburon team didn't leave us with many questions this year as years before. They were upfront with just about everything. There are still some legacy issues, but you can't fix them all in one year with 3 less months of development work on next gen consoles. Give this team a break. They finally have some good management in there.

What happened to True Step, is it still in the game?
I was wondering about true step after I saw that todman run in the jags video. Only players with great agility can stop on a dime like shady etc etc. On a positive note though I saw blitzing leading to passing inaccuracies that's a huge win for the game.

I like what I am seeing from these gameplay videos. Looking at them, it might actually force people to somewhat play real football as far as making reads on offense. I was seeing users miss open short routes that would have gotten YAC but they tried to go for the kill and it resulted in incompletions or interceptions. The defense is a LOT better this year but not unstoppable if you make the right plays. I just want to play a game where I don't feel cheated by someone using a cheap play/tactic(s) and that I can actually say I was outplayed if I lose a game. People are gonna try to exploit the game anyway when it comes out but I think it's more about limiting the amount of them and it looks like EA has actually done pretty well with that. Madden 15 is not gonna be perfect but it looks pretty promising based on the gameplay I have watched. Cheesers might actually get exposed this time lol

I was thinking of posting something like this as well. Lol. Obviously, this IS different than what's going on in madden. Madden isn't purposely putting guys out there with shorts and short sleeves in the snow saying, 'yeah, some people dress like this in the cold at a football game.' It's obviously an oversight on their part and they didn't want to (or have time to?) create a seperate group of people with different clothing JUST for snow games. But, ultimately they should just to add some polish. And here, I really don't think this would take much. In simple programming language, u have a simple if statement: if (temp < 50 degrees) { use clothingPackageCold }
else { use clothingPackageRegular }
It's ONE LINE OF CODE, EA!!!! Lol. I'm sure it's not THAT simple, but honestly, it has to be close to that simple. Silly Ea, tricks r 4 kids. Lol.

Hmmm, my last post isn't quite printing everything, so I'm trying again to see what happens:

Edit: weird, something with my syntax is screwing with the HTML markup or something. Anyways, just trying to say cold weather clothing for cameramen and fans could possibly be fixed with actually creating the clothin first, and then a simple "if" statement. If "temp less than 50 degrees", "use coldWeatherClothing", else, "use regularClothing"

I agree they are not doing it on purpose it's more or less something they just overlooked. But that picture is why it never bothers me, I don't even think twice when I see it in the game because of some of the morons (no offense meant to anyone who dresses like this at a game lol) I see IRL when it's 10 degrees below zero with 4 feet of snow on the ground.

Hopefully they have a video of the rest of the relocation logo's today. I was so excited when he said he would show us all of the logo's only to have him stop after half of them. Really wanna see Portland and Sacramento.

Has EA commented on whether or not they are gone? The lack of QB throwing motions stood out to me during one of the videocasts. But they dont trigger all the time anyway so I figured that was the case.

I'm seeing a vast improvement in this year's game than Madden 25, which I didn't enjoy at all. I just REALLY hope that if the devs are on some kind of multi-year plan, that they stick to it by continually adding to this game and never subtracting, especially in regards to:

animations - running, qb stances/throwing

graphical upgrades - stadium lighting, progressive lighting, shadows

presentation elements - stat banners, game intros (they had a CBS-style intro 2 years ago only to be replaced with a generic one last year just to go back to a CBS-style again), score bugs/replay swipes (please let Duece contribute, his work is brilliant)

field elements - degradation both in-game and throughout the season, rain/snow effects, correct field color/material/logos

The list can go on forever because EA have implemented a lot of useful stuff over the past 10 years. If we had the field degradation of '08 (maybe not so exaggerated), qb stances/throwing motions of a couple of years ago, different in-game presentation elements combined from all of those years, among others, we'd have a much deeper Madden experience today that would allow us to feel every matchup differently.

tl;dr version: keep adding to these improvements please, because there are a lot of great things Madden 15 has that can make the near future that much better.

From the videos I've watched I gotta say I'm really impressed! The game looks great graphics wise, the presentation looks really good as well! I love that it's more akin to a CBS type of graphics package and the real time celebrations are a nice touch and definitely needed. I can't wait to play this because the game play looked like so much fun! Defense looks like it's going to be fun to play and the offensive stuff including the "inaccurate passes" was really cool to see! Color me excited fellas!

I couldn't agree more. I really like what I have seen for this year, but some of the things they removed irk me. As others have said, we should be getting more features in a next gen release; not trading out old ones for new ones.

I can appreciate a reduced development cycle and am truly excited for a new football game. I just hope the differences we've seen in how the team communicates legacy issues ahead of release is a sign that things truly are changing. In a few years, we could have a great game, but this isn't the first year I've said that.

Lets not forget what Madden is known for. You will enjoy the game for a week or two until something major is broke and you are waiting months for that promised patch to fix the game so you can play.

You will not enjoy this game from day one. You will be waiting for good sliders to try to fix the game. Roster editors to fix the poorly done rosters and the second patch to fix something major broken. We all know the first patch will already be on its way before release. That second patch feels like forever.

This game is what it is. Don't get caught up in the hype. Know what you are buying. Take the game for what it is.
This made me smile!

Gauntlet looks real fun! Can't wait

After watching most of these videos, I am truly excited to play the game for myself via the EA Access trial period. I am hoping that we get the full version of the game so I can lock it in on All-Pro, turn the speed to slow and adjust some sliders (run blocking, pass accuracy, etc) to get a better feel for the gameplay improvements. IMO, Madden 25 on next gen systems was a pretty big step up from the last gen version. Graphically, not so much, but gameplay was much improved and felt much more "solid". Graphics alone, Madden 15 is a giant step up. I am hoping the gameplay takes a similar step forward. I will be getting the game either way, just can't wait to get my hands on it to try it for myself.

@jpdavis1982: @ClintOldenburg What happened to signature QB throwing motions and stances? It looks like they were removed. I thought that wouldn't happen

@ClintOldenburg: @jpdavis1982 nothing has been removed

I beg to differ pointing at the video proof. Every QB stance and throwing motion looked identical to me. Maybe my eyes are going bad?

Is is just me or are all these videos having really really REALLY fast gameplay?

It could be the video makers are just trying to show off offense more.

It could be what you stated above is true, but mostly what I'm seeing is almost unstoppable offenses.

Did you watch the Zfarls v that other dude video. He couldn't do anything with the Redskins. That was a good sign to me. He seemed like he tried to play Madden ball but, those realistic inaccuracies got him

Yea I disagree as well plug in madden 25 when Big Ben is in the shotgun he stands with his left foot in front on these madden 15 videos all qbs stand exactly the same. The videos tells all.
