Madden NFL 15 Available Now For PS4 Digital Pre-Order, Play on Aug. 26 at 12:01AM EST

Madden NFL 15 is available now for digital pre-order on the PlayStation 4. You will be able to pre-load on August 24th, so you can start playing the game on release date August 26th, at 12:01 AM EST.

If you're confident you are going to play Madden for awhile I think digital makes sense. I traded in M25 pretty quickly but I don't think M15 is going to leave my console for awhile.

I'm thinking about ordering from gamestop since I have a $20 coupon. I notice you can order the download version. It will be available on 8-26-14 and you can start downloading at 9 am. I believe. I was looking on the Playstation 4 store and it says a little over 17 gb. Is this correct or is this a placeholder? I just don't see how it could be so little. I also looked at
ufc game and it is 15 to 16 gb. Anybody know if this is for sure? I will definitely download if this is the case.

Not for me - I get the game at Best Buy for $48 for being a GCU. I get $10 back in Reward Zone certs for preordering from Best Buy. Plus if I decide the game blows and I don't care for it, with Best Buy's solid trade in's (depending on when/if I trade it in) I might get $35-$40 for it.

Only thing that would tempt me is being able to play that night - Maybe at 11:01 central?

I bought a Vita specifically for the ability to remotely access Madden. Not needing the disc inserted to do so makes this a no brainer for me.

Yea digital is awful unless you're 100% sold on the game. I buy my games on ebay brand new at discounted prices and then sell them on there or craigslist when im done. Most of the time they're glorified rentals, some times i break even, and occasionally i actually make a buck or two.

M15 is $52 ($50 for PS4) with free shipping on there right now, a lot of people wouldn't mind waiting 2 days for it to arrive when it saves $13

what's the point of doing the digital download? well for me I have a spinal cord injury and I am in a wheelchair with no transportation and would have to take about 3.5 hours with getting on 3 different busses for one game, I did that a lot but now with the digital download it just mkes it so much more easier for me

I've been thinking about going digital with M15 since I will probably be playing it for a while and don't plan on trading it in. If you go digital does it take up more memory? Has anyone had problems before with the game when they bought it digital?

I just pre ordered mine on the psn. It says I would be able to play on August 25th at 9 pm. I don't know if they're talking about my time zone. I'm central.

Can you really get the download version from GameStop? This is my first time hearing this what do they give you a code or something?

I thought it was strange too. But yes you can order the digital download from gamestop. I ordered the digital download for the last of us instead. The gave me a 12 digit code you just place it where you redeem codes at the PS store. The only thing is for the madden game you have to wait until 9 am on the 26th to start downloading game.

How would you know if it's finished downloading and just waiting for the time to have it go live? Oven ever done this on the PS4 but figured I'd have a go of it this year..
