Its actually still for sale on the Cavs website...more people just looking for something to pull out of nothing

u guys are hilarious. lol all i'm saying is that cleveland is putting everything into that small window now with lebron and hoping they cash in by trading wiggins. with wiggins, the windows is much bigger b/c he has the potential to be a top player in the league with irving. also, those max deals are going to turn cleveland into miami.

Difference being Wade is going downhill quickly, physically. If Wade's knee wasn't deteriorating, being stuck with he and Bosh going forward would not be as bad as you're making it out to be.

Being stuck with Irving and Love going forward isn't really the same as being stuck with Wade and Bosh.

I get the point you're trying to make but you're overstating it a bit.

i never realized making the finals every year and winning half of them was a problem

well we assume that will be the case with cleveland. irving and love are unproven at this point in the postseason.

Still don't get this "unproven" talk about the Cavs' guys. We all know how many weaknesses LeBron by himself masks on a team. Kyrie and those guys are better than anybody he played with in Miami not named Bosh or Wade. They're also light years better than anybody that was in Cleveland the first time around.

Likewise don't overstate experience and intangibles.

Would be interesting to have an average of how old the NBA championship winners starting fives have been the last 20 years. I bet they're on the older side.

If the rumors of Lebron not reaching out to Wiggins are true, does that not sit right with anyone else except me?

I mean, they are still teammates and the kid was just drafted #1. Maybe I'm just reading too far into it.

Not me. Now if the GM or coach hadn't talked to the kid I'd have a problem with it but star players are not GM or coach. People are seriously reaching. Twenty days, we should just wait and see what happens.

LeBron age is what the problem is here. If he were just 2-3 years younger. Keeping Wiggins would be easy. But with this win now thing.

When did Pippen and Jordan join forces? And how old were they?

that's why i'm not on board with this wiggins deal. u better get a rim protector once u trade wiggins b/c people are going to be camping out in the lane.

I don't agree Teddy_Long... You don't need a rim protector to win the championship. The Heat have proven that.

Jordan was 24, Scottie was 22 when he was acquired on draft night. Jordan was definitely in win now territory though.

Not agreeing with him, but to be fair, the Heat's team defense had a lot to do with helping overcome that issue. Battier, James, Wade, Bosh think Andy might be the only one on the Cavs that can compare to the level of defenders the Heat had on the roster here. Maybe TT?

What I will say is: I'm assuming the Cav's arent playing an aggressive style like the Heat, so they'll definitely need more of a traditional rim protector. Even Bosh/Birdman were to be reckoned with on the weak side.

That will need to be addressed in some capacity whether they keep Wiggins or not...

If Varejao stays healthy he'll be "ok", but for championship aspirations they need to bring in someone, at least a guy off the bench.

A lot of people are talking about his age and "win now"... none of them are named Lebron James. Whether we believe him or not, the only thing he's said is "it's going to take time."

And I think it's foolish to think adding Love helps "win now" unless he agrees to an extension and "now" realistically is the year after next... which may not be far off from when Wiggins (learning under Lebron) is ready to win now at a cheaper price.

Society screams "win now" but the reality few teams thrown together with that mentality actually do it.
