EA Sports UFC Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here (Xbox One, PS4)

The EA Sports UFC demo is available now for Xbox One (queue it up here), it weighs in at 2.7GB. If you are up for it, you can also download from your PS4 by creating a European account, then downloading from this link.

UPDATE: The demo is now available for PS4 users in North America. Search for EA Sports UFC in the PlayStation Store or click here to queue it up.

The demo includes light heavyweight champ Jon �Bones� Jones vs. Alex �The Mauler� Gustafsson in a three round fight at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Nevada. The difficulty is set to normal with a walkthrough tutorial included.

Thoughts after 3 fights:

+ Graphics look great on the X1. Wife walked in my office, looked at the screen and said "This is a game?"

- Game appears to be on the easiest setting and you cant change it.

- CPU appears to push the pace constantly with Gus or with Jones. The only way to get realistic fights may be to use accelerated clock.

- On the easiest settings, grappling is too easy. CPU can take me down but I immediately can get back to my feet with relative ease.

+ I love the hand striking. You can use your length and the jab with guys like Gus and Jones.

+ Appears to be some strategy from the CPU. I was owning Jones on the feet and he just started attempting takedowns.

You have to log in to you european account on the playstation website and download it from the website, atleast thats what I had to do

If you're talking about my stream, I have no idea how to play and the cpu doesn't help either. Same old cpu super aggressive spamming power punches.

I'm sure it'll be better playing humans, but this game isn't fun against cpu. Animations are weak as well

Just had a three round war using Gus:

+ The blood and cut effects are incredible. Best I've ever seen in a fighting game.

- Doesnt look like you can push someone to the cage easily from the clinch. It also could be that I just suck at it.

- Not crazy about the "significant strikes" stat. Its similar to FNC where they only consider a significant strike if you use the power modifier. For example, throwing a straight and landing it flush isnt considered a significant strike.
