MLB 14 The Show Available As Day 1 Digital Download Available to Download Now (PS4)

MLB 14 The Show will be available as a Day 1 digital download at 12:01 AM EST on May 6th. (SEE UPDATES BELOW) Similar to how users were able to download the PS3 version, expect it to be available at that time, give or take a few minutes.

It doesn't appear as though you will be able to pre-download, as some hoped with the latest PlayStation update. VG24/7 noted Watch Dogs will be the first game available for pre-download, releasing on May 27th.

UPDATE: As of 10:30 AM EST, the game is still not available to download.

UPDATE #2: Due to unforeseen technical issues, MLB 14 The Show for PS4 is not currently available for download via the PlayStation Store. All parties are working as quickly as possible to remedy the issue. We�ll update this post as soon as a resolution is reached. Thank you for your continued patience.

UPDATE #3: Based off of the many responses, the download should be available for everyone now.

I don't rely on the standby feature actually working, so when the link is live I send the download through the app and I've had it work every single time.

I'm not sure if this is of any help to you at all, but I finally have the game in my downloads library about an hour ago. I purchased the physical copy and they issued me a refund, but it looks like it downloaded in my que and is ready to install. As long as you have automatic downloads turned on, I think it should do the same for you.

Hey a lot of you guys here always said you wanted rain delays in MLB The Show so just make believe it's raining at your games right now and we are in a very long rain delay and the double header is scheduled for later tonight

Lol... Just downloaded the app, got excited, clicked store, and it immediately takes you out of the app to a normal webpage... Then tried to login to that and it said theres an error with the server and it cant login...

Does anything for sony work right now?

Pretty sure that's just your day 1 patch that it grabbed after you installed the physical copy.

Off and on for about 2 years now. My body feels like I'm 70 I guess my eyes wanted to catch up..

2 minutes to process the refund
Very appreciative of how easy it was, and how short of time it took.

Luckily my local Walmart had like 14 copies in - so we are set, finally

Well that's a little bit irritating. Tried the support chat and entered the queue at #66, finally got down to #1 and got "Status Canceled. There are no agents available to chat with you right now. Please try again later."
