This doesn't seem like a crazy request.
100% agree more then likely when you see people complain that they want new gameplay this is what they are talking about!

More Human and less Robotic animations all around.

Exactly more life like animations would make the gameplay even better then it does ...Every time I see that animation for the players slide into second or third looks like they break there leg and the way they catch ball track the ball jus looks odd at times ..

Lighting is nice. Crowd audio is abit dead reacting to home runs (same as ps3 crowd after homeruns)

I like how some people "know" what Russell and the guys worked on and what they didn't. Its almost physic like

what makes you positive player models were not enhanced ? I have 20/20 vision and they appear better for sure.

Now....same skeletons is what I believe Woodweaver stated was one of the "holdover" assets from the PS3 version.

During gameplay vid 2 does anyone else hear Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC , when the twins batter is at the plate bout 9 secs in. I only noticed it when i used my headphones. Do i need to get my hearing checked ?

2) something about the jerseys seems off. The fronts look like the players are wearing bullet proof vests underneath or something. They don't move and just stop at the belt, dip in and go into the pants. Looks odd.
I do have to agree with this. The outfields do seem pretty small. And the jerseys too, they, along with the body models always seemed kind of buff and stiff. But first year on next gen, I'll definitely take it. Now if it isn't improved some by next year or the year after, we may need to talk then... but for now, it looks REALLY good.

Mlb the show is definitely a better gaming franchise then madden but the enhancements made from current gen to next gen remind of me of the jump in the madden series. The developers glamored over the blades of grass similar to how the show developers are doing the same. There is no doubt it will be a great game but I feel it's just a more polished ps3 version. I'll say it again, eventhough it had online issues, nba 2k14 for the next gen was a true visual leap to next gen. If it's the same wide shouldered, short armed models next year, I will be a bit concerned on whether the franchise even takes a next gen leap.

He's not talking about the player models, he's talking about the whole game in general. He's saying that there are so many people on here who think they know exactly what the developers are thinking and float words around that make it sound like they were sitting in every meeting and developing the game along with them. It's honestly laughable at how many people do it. That entire post Russel quoted is the perfect example of someone floating words around, where they don't have any clue of what SCEA's plan is with this game. It's almost equivalent to gossip. This is just one of the many posts, but it's a perfect example of someone posting as if they know exactly what's going on at SCEA.

Lol no I do not know what's going on there as the rest of everyone here except the peope that work on the game are the only ones that know what they actually have done with this game .. My speculation Is jus like everyone else around here might be different then yours and others but still I pay 65 dollars for the Ps3 version and will pay 65 for the Ps4 version and I have opinion and to me the gameplay and player models look the same as Ps3 ..I will play and enjoy it jus the same as I have the Ps3 version ..Was jus hoping for better or diff player models and player movemeants then ive see the last 5 years with this game.

Yeah, but NBA 2K14 next gen also has less features than it's predecessor. SDS deserves credit for feature parity across platforms. To take the easy way out, they could have easily left the PS3/Vita version alone and said "hey the next gen version adds QCs, online franchise, dynamic cams, player lock, year-to-year saves, etc." but they actually made them a reality across the board. Not to mention, made the platforms so totally different and just killed cross-platform saves altogether.

Also, the arms are not an issue with the players models; maybe 4 years ago they were.

I completely agree with you that the models look the same and I never argued that point whatsoever. Just like you I don't think much changed in that area at all. However, why not just leave it at that? Adding in a completely absurd assumption of them not touching the player models so they have something new to add in next year is just not necessary. That's not how you get things changed. Your post could be seen as a shot at the developers which we all know how hard they work. There's just so many posts on here that lose their credibility because of a snide remark somewhere in a post. It's pretty easy to just say what you don't like, describe why, and leave it at that. That's normal criticism and is necessary to keep building the game.

I'm just pointing it out because I found myself doing the same exact thing with the NHL series. It's a lot easier to do with that game because those developers have no communication with their customers whatsoever, so you never know if they are even reading what you post. In fact I use that forum as a way to let out my frustrations. Anyway I've just found that adding in unnecessary comments/speculations really does no good.
