It's called auto motion calling. Make sure you change it to AUTO from manual. You change it in Game Settings. Not sure what it means exactly, but for me, it keeps the players always moving depending on what's going on the court. I think it's what causes the problems with players appearing to just stand around. On manual, you have to call plays to get them to move around. On Auto, they do it without you having to call plays. Keeps it more organic and the flow is much better.

Switched over to XBox One...I think I may pick this up again just to have another option if I can find a good used price...

it just took a while to get used to the controls
the controls are pretty much perfect
they really just needed a tutorial mode like NCAA to get people used to the
controls.
at first I wasn't sure about this game, but now I'm having fun playing it
it's not perfect like any other game, but it is fun to play, if they had
teamplay it would be perfect in my book

Top annoyance is the CPU PG goto of driving to the paint, pumpfaking, then making the layup regardless of who's nearby.
If you're on the One, look at my GT/add me and check out my clips. I have one egregious example where the ball actually clips through not 1 but 2 defender's block attempts, 1 after it was out of the shooters hands.

I think it's just a lack of animations to counteract the offense inside..unless your swatting the ball, you generally have no chance...had Kenyon Martin do the same to me the other day...

If Kobe is pushing his defender away on purpose, because he can see Rose is driving to the basket, then this game has some of the sickets details at little things.

On the other note, I really hope they'll touch on the clipping in the patch. I don't expect the game to be clip free, but this much in only one little play?

Anyone else feel this game needs to be reviewed again post patch? It's nothing like it was on day 1.
I'd honestly say it'd be a losing battle to be reviewed again, just due to the fact that most reviewers would put in a few hours, or 6-8 hours, and then still not be comfortable with the controls. It'd score higher I'm sure, but most are jaded at the poor release of Live.
I can't wait to get the patch and see if I can notice anything. Can anyone check to see if the Kings floor has been updated at Center Court? I doubt it is, but wishful thinking.
This week has been too hectic to do anything gamingwise. I had the CPU vs CPU on the projector while I was preparing some presentations, haha. That's the extent of my gaming this week.

I own live too, haven't posted I'm here at all since I got it, a few questions, where are the sliders and does the game feel so slowwww.. Anyway to set game speed cause I have yet to find game speed.

Finally picked up a used copy of the retail version. Can't wait to see the differences between that and the demo.
Opened a gold pack and last night and got Paul Pierce and a rare Ray Allen. Ray Allen is absurdly automatic
