Franchise modes are a passion for me; they are my go-to mode in any sports game. I truly enjoy the challenge in taking a struggling team and rebuilding them into one of the best teams in the league. It’s a very cerebral experience, one that requires a certain level of shrewdness. For years, our award winning Association mode has put you through the trials and tribulations of building a team that can co-exist while trying to win titles. We had some pretty defining features during the last generation in The Association, but for this generation, it’s a whole new game.

I'm especially glad about the promises to have you earn VC with your profit margin when you own your franchise. I'm hoping the sums you can earn by pleasing your owner and staff are decent as well, VC has been nothing but a hindrance on the game so far. Maybe they can turn it around so you can earn decent VC without farming the saved games or waste your money for virtual coins in a full priced game (smh, never going to spend once cent for microtransactions in a game I already paid for in full).

Everything we've heard about the additions to the game modes seem great, now that we know online leagues are still in things are looking good. NBA2K has had a great on-court experience for years, but off it the game has been a bit lacking. This seems like a big step in the right direction.

I Love everything I read in that write up

the thing I really loved was the Generational Player

Well there might 3 Legit Generational Players in the 2014 Created Draft Classes

Wiggins
Parker
Randle

But I wonder if its Random where they just Pick any player they want to be THAT Generational Player

It makes me think that they actually put work into the draft classes, instead of it being completely random like on CG

I hope so. It did confirm you can create custom rosters and import classic teams. So i don't know why they wouldn't have it.

so does this hint at potential steals in the draft also? (ie. Chandler Parsons, Monta Ellis, Isaiah Thomas etc)

Like this is everything I wanted! I can't wait to see what the future holds for this game!!!! Now I just need to figure out which system to buy it on....

2k seems to be pushing the PS4 version a lot more so is there a huge difference between the xboxone version besides the small exclusive additions....they never really confirmed anything.

This mode looks great on paper, but 2k has let us too many times to trust them. I'm afraid the AI logic will be still bad, or that the stats will be still messed up (like for example if you look now at the current season rookies, they don't have their current stats) or something else that will break this mode.
I would really like to be proved wrong when the game will come out, but I doubt I will.

Well at least you have LIVE to fall back on, they definitely keep their promises.

The thought of finishing an 82 game season doesn't seem so daunting when u can jump into a game in the 3rd quarter down by 5 or intervene in the 4th clinging to a 3 point lead

I love you 2k... I cannot wait to get this. I am glad I skipped this years current gen... This is how you start a new gen of consoles. If it works they way it reads, then this will be an instant classic.

all that's left to include in this diary are drafts/CAPs. how well do they progress? how many varied personalities will there be? are they editable? will they demand/receive contracts based off performance or rating?

Yeah I'm surprised FA and contracts haven't been mentioned yet, considering they will be a massive part of the mode. Will they finally be handed out based on performance and "perceived" potential, instead of overall rating and every team knowing their exact potential?

Since this is a brand new mode, we don't even know if they still have the same potential system. I would hope not, on next gen it should definitely be more organic.

Well excuse me if I don't jump on the bandwagon of the best game ever before even playing it or before some non-2k reviewer gives his opinion.
It's obvious that the guys who want you to buy their game will describe it as the best thing ever, but I want to see how it actually plays out of the box before fangasming.
For what they was telling before launch, Dynamic Living Roster should have been a game-changing feature, and we all see how it is in reality, the same ****ty updates as always.
So no, I don't believe what they say, and I never ever mentioned EA, in fact I won't get Live 100%. The inferior graphic a well enough reason not to.
