For me, the big thing is the crowd swells. If Rodgers throws a deep bomb for a TD, I want that home crowd screaming.

If it's 3rd and 4, I want the home crowd up and screaming noise to help the defense out.

This was sorely lacking in CG.

Some nitpicking for me, McCoy is tip toeing the sidelines, #99 comes at him (assuming running pretty fast), and McCoy easily morphs right into the shrug off animation, and keeps running. I'm assuming #99 is a DT? Raiders fans?

One other thing: Hopefully this means the bad weather/crowd bug is gone. For those of you who dont know what that is: In CCM/Franchise, anytime it rained or snowed, the stadium would only be half full. Thats extremely disappointing especially when you play a cold weather playoff game and the stadium isnt sold out.

Hopefully this is gone with the new crowds.

I really am but, EA is not helping anything with these video's. I went from being very impressed with the "gameplay videos" of E3, to seeing what it is now. I guess what they showed was Madden 2020 gameplay. I'm not trying to be funny at all.

I actually like what the game looks like it is going to be but, I just feel lied to. I am 99% sure now that the Monday Night Footballs sims were next gen video. I just wish EA would stop the charade and just show us what the game is.

The sidelines are still pretty bad. I'm not some 2K fanboy so don't jump on me. I'm closer to a Madden fanboy but, AP 2k's sidelines were worlds better than this. When you ran out of bounds you had really sideline interaction with the rest of the team in REAL TIME. These "sideline interactions" look like it's just a cut seen. Maybe I'm wrong but, doesn't it?

The Crowd looks nice and other things look good but, come on. I'm trying not to be overly critical. I just want this game to be so good but, it looks like we are getting a little better version of current Madden 25.

I really don't mind it if they get the CPU AI right. If they can give me a CPU opponent that is smart and makes adjustments I will be happy. To me this is not lowering my expectations. This is by far the most important thing for me. You can have everything else right but, if the CPU sucks then it just gets boring real quick.
After re-watching. If you look at the McCoy run Chip Kelly steps backs while he is still in bounds but approaching the sidelines.

As far as the helmet tap that could be a cut scene. Won't know until next week.

Yea liked how they mention the crowd will stand up when you throw a deep ball. I'd love see that, thats one of those hold your breath moments, that either ends with a sigh of disappointment or the crowd erupting. Will be cool to see.

I didn't see one woman on the sideline or in the stands lol, that's all I got.

There are also five trainers and nine assistant coaches on sidelines, and these characters have more than 300 animations Look for sideline characters to move up and down the player box as the line of scrimmage moves down the field.

Is that 3 of the same trainer clones standing together?

The main reason it seems like it is to me is because they already have cut scenes of the sideline like that. It looked like those but, with a player running into it. I really, really hope I'm wrong.

Ouch didn't think about that.. If these are "run out of bounds", screen swap, cutscene of player in sideline, screen swap back to huddle. That will be just like the TD celebrations.. I hope not..

Looks just like him to me. Can't you tell?

This is the problem with bringing attention to the sideline but then getting the sidelines details wrong. Because even though it is a cool thing to have, all I can think about now is how these are all the wrong players on the sideline..

That was definitely better than what we've been seeing. It's definitely not on a certain basketball games level, but if they were to show some half way decent game play they may push me into "I'll take this game as the third game in Target's B2G1 deal".

Man. The rest of the players and coaches are just standing there all dumb. Like they don't even see their team mate. running off the field. All I can do just laugh and wonder if they read what they say the game is going to before putting out video's. I mean they made the video. It's clearly as good as possible in that video. This isn't some phone camera that recorded some game play.

Mike Smith's hair is actually pretty white. I wonder how his will look.

Judging by your edit I thought you were going to suggest it was Brees or something.

I was going to mention it seems like a one player interaction minimum. You see on the bears sideline #55 moves but doesn't even turn his head really.

He was our starter for a few games. I really liked him a lot. We even beat the Saints in the super dome with him as starter
Wow he was on the Falcons earlier. This guy is all over the NFC South.

Hmmmm.. the crowd stuff didn't look too spectacular to me. But I do like the living sidelines thing, and Chip Kelly looks great (die hard eagles fan here). I've been thinking for a while that Madden's gameplay is good enough, the things that have prevented me from playing as much as I used to are the little things, like graphics or stuff like living sidelines.
