bullshot
n. A screenshot fabricated by a company to misrepresent the graphics of a game; a combination of the words bull**** and screenshot.
The game is not going to be in 5760x3240... so this is what next-gen 2K might look on a super high-end PC machine when they make a PC version of it. It's not going to look like this on PS4.

But who would buy a new TV for the PS4? And how many average gamers would think to get a new 4K TV? I mean, I've known the 4K thing for a while, but most people are just gonna hookup HDMI using their current TV.
But then again, tell me when the resolution really mattered (only 1080p) to a lot the majority people? Most people I know think the max of stuff is 1080p.

Haha, yeah. That's why I put the Spoilers cause I want one. No way I'm able to spend $4000 on one right now. Maybe after a couple more certifications, lol.
The Sony 4K upscales 1080p to 4K for both gaming and DVD/Bluray. But like you said, not many people are going to buy a new TV just for better-looking resolution in gaming when 1080p is still the standard.
It sure would be nice though to see if there's a noticeable difference between 1080p and 4K with 2K14.

Actually I know you can import a 50" 4K TV (or was it monitor?) from China for about $1K.
It will look good, but will the playing experience be good/better? That's the bigger question.

Even if it wsa the same gameplay, it would already be a phenomenal experience with the increased visuals. And we know it'll have at least some improvements.
Finish on the ball looks good but the modelling/normal mapping looks a bit off. The panels should look more raised and their bevels should be pronounced around the black lines. It could also afford to look a bit more orange.
It looks like they modelled it off one of the replica rubber balls rather than the real leather game ball.
Of all the things Live gets wrong, this is one thing they get right year to year:
ok i thought i was the only one feeling that way about their basketball in the game

Games are going to be 1080p, just having a 4K TV doesn't do anything. And guess what, that bullshot is higher than 4K resolution.
Best upgrade of any sports game so far. Lebron is spot on. As far as skin goes. they can change in certain lighting as with the ball. As far as the tv goes , thier is no way my Samsung 1080p plasma is not going to make this game look fantastic. . I would say unless your refresh rate is 240 MHz or more , you will have no problem with the graphics and movement of this game.

Yeah, I'm expecting that but who knows what they will try.
Comic con had BF3 playing on a 4k monitor running with Titans sli...all I know is that you have to squint to read the letters since the thing was so damn sharp....
Anyway...I hope the audio got an overhaul for next gen as well....visuals is nothing without having great audio to compliment it...
Also, why does he look so angry? He should have a more pleasant expression! LeBron enjoys the game of basketball!! We should have Dynamic Moods for next gen 2k....
Maybe we can sim a conversation with a teammate that determines how a player will feel throughout the game...
