I'm over purrty graphics...That's a given that it will look better...What I really want to know is will the game-play be improved and particularly ONLINE play because now the game is terrible online...Rebounding sucks and 3 pointers are insane.

The guts of the game are good but there is no reason for people to run plays when its easier to just pop a 3...get your rebound, toss it back out, miss another three, get your rebound, pass it out for another missed three, get your rebound, pass it out for another three then maybe drain it after 4-5 attempts.

2K...fix the dang game-play online and I'll be wowed by that not LeBron's receding hairline.

But then again, tell me when the resolution really mattered (only 1080p) to a lot the majority people? Most people I know think the max of stuff is 1080p.

Haha, yeah. That's why I put the Spoilers cause I want one. No way I'm able to spend $4000 on one right now. Maybe after a couple more certifications, lol.

The Sony 4K upscales 1080p to 4K for both gaming and DVD/Bluray. But like you said, not many people are going to buy a new TV just for better-looking resolution in gaming when 1080p is still the standard.

It sure would be nice though to see if there's a noticeable difference between 1080p and 4K with 2K14.

Actually I know you can import a 50" 4K TV (or was it monitor?) from China for about $1K.

I remember hearing about that though

EDIT: Here. http://www.engadget.com/2013/07/25/tcl-4k-50-inch-999/

It will look good, but will the playing experience be good/better? That's the bigger question.

Oh wow.

I didn't even know about that. I only knew about Samsung, Sony, and LG. This could be great for consumers (me).

About to watch these reviews for that TCL and HiSense and see what features they have/don't have.

Even if it wsa the same gameplay, it would already be a phenomenal experience with the increased visuals. And we know it'll have at least some improvements.
