Dude. That is pathetic. I seriously can not believe this. Wait actually I can.
I am really starting to think EA just put current gen footage in this trailer. And the real next gen footage will be on Monday. If I am wrong then o my god what has EA done?????
The bottom pic was taken at crap quality because the trailer looks a million times better than that when I watch it. The E3 demo of Vikings-Skins where its nothing but run plays looks much closer to the first pic.
The tech is certainly there with the ignite engine, Tiburon just has to take advantage of it and create a sim game. Honestly the sky is the limit with what EA has in place for their sports games. They just can't bs with it.

I would buy that if anyone but EA built it. EA has just overused the hype words and cgi videos to believe what they say.
I've seen videos of player head tracking for Madden 10, videos of how different accelerations would effect players with the same speed rating, locomotion and foot planting videos, etc. I've heard all the buzzwords and catch phrases like protak and precision modifiers.
For as revolutionary as this engine is supposed to be, nothing stood out in the ignite trailer to me. I've yet to see anything that makes me believe this time it's different.
direct footage helps... you should get someone EA Tiburon to talk to the folks at http://www.gamersyde.com/ they upload direct feed footage at 60fps, if developers provide it.
It will help, but it still isn't a true replication. Forza Motorsport 5 released a direct feed gameplay video the other day and it doesn't look as good as it does in real life.
Most people WANT to be disappointed with these ridiculous side by side screen shots of paused low quality videos. I will never understand why people do that every year and when the game comes out it looks JUST like the official pictures released by EA, instead of the screen capped paused videos. C'mon now, be smart. I can record my games in 1080p, render it in 1080p, upload it to YouTube, screen shot it, & it still wont looks as good as it does on my television screen. Now I'll take an educated guess and say that Madden next gen was being shown on PC's at E3, like some of the other games were, and not on the actual consoles, but even then, I'm pretty sure next gen Madden graphics will NOT look like the screen shots provided in the posts above. That should really be common knowledge by now.
This trailer does nothing to get me excited about next gen, but the announcement that more info will be coming on Monday does a bit.
Also this clip is too short (and too close to the action) to see anything and the video quality is just horrifically bad.
If all EA did was say that there will be more info coming on Monday and didn't release the trailer, I'd probably be slightly more excited. The idea of this teaser trailer is nice, but it's so unhelpful that it makes me feel like they might be hiding something, but overall I really does nothing for me.
Here's to Monday having the best announcement for Madden in years! Please? Well, my fingers crossed at least, but I'm not holding my breath.

I totally feel you, but believe me the tech is there for some incredible stuff, Tiburon just has to utilize it. This gen there are no excuses. It'll be all on the talent at Tiburon.
