Next-gen graphics can really only be judged by the human eye. The quality is decreased heavily with any video uploaded using Facebook.

Also, pausing and capturing screenshots is not the way to go and does not represent the game.

The tech is certainly there with the ignite engine, Tiburon just has to take advantage of it and create a sim game. Honestly the sky is the limit with what EA has in place for their sports games. They just can't bs with it.

I guess I'll wait til Monday. I saw a (possibly?) slightly graphically improved version of current Madden. Now back to GTA V.

I would buy that if anyone but EA built it. EA has just overused the hype words and cgi videos to believe what they say.

I've seen videos of player head tracking for Madden 10, videos of how different accelerations would effect players with the same speed rating, locomotion and foot planting videos, etc. I've heard all the buzzwords and catch phrases like protak and precision modifiers.

For as revolutionary as this engine is supposed to be, nothing stood out in the ignite trailer to me. I've yet to see anything that makes me believe this time it's different.

I made a gif of the Trailer...it looks better when you don't watch it in full screen...i don't think it was meant to be watched in full screen really.... seems it was compressed or something.



I also think this is an old build. I expect it to look much better come launch...but again, I'm just worried how the animations, physics, tackling, all branch smooth together.

here is Madden 06 for the 360...this is the reason i expect the graphics to look good come launch. The textures in this trailer look nonexistent....but I really believe they will look much better...they have to.

direct footage helps... you should get someone EA Tiburon to talk to the folks at http://www.gamersyde.com/ they upload direct feed footage at 60fps, if developers provide it.

It is a screenshot of a Facebook video. There is absolutely no reason to be worried. Any game will look off with the same circumstances.
