Hate to be that guy but yeah....Im not impressed. Looks like the same game with slightly updated graphics. Looks nothing like what we saw earler. All of E3 must have been CGI for EA, not just NBA Live. I know it was a quick snippet of gameplay so I will reserve further judgement until Monday.
LOL.
I didn't it was possible to determine if a game is the same as another just by watching a player break some tackles. Please.
You say it's the same game. What, were you expecting 50 guys on the field with no helmets? It's still football and there's no way to tell without seeing gameplay.
Also I wouldn't get my hopes up for actual gameplay from a gameplay camera. EA rarely releases that type of stuff themselves. It could happen, but personally I wouldn't get my hopes up.
I dont want to get into the whole gameplay argument thing, but for those who are worried about graphics they are going to be ok. The player models we seen at E3 etc are the graphics we are going to see on NextGen. just check this video out on 1:49 - 2:03

its not all the way perfect but comparing it to the Adrian Peterson picture posting somewhere on this thread with the E3 comparison, u can tell the MAJOR different in skin texture and equipment. so we shouldn't at least be worried about that part to an extent. Plus conformation for EA game changers according to the gameplay they have seen. ( for those who has any faith in them because i know a lot of you may or may not like them)
Considering the current gen game needs a massive patch that they don't seem to want to give us, won't the next gen one have the same issues?
Not necessarily. They've been working on this one longer, so it'll have issues, just not necessarily the same as current gen. Depends on what they decided to work on and what the new hardware has made easier.
Now that I think of it, looking back at the E3 gameplay trailer, there were a few instances where I could not tell where the animations began or ended. Like how seamless RG3 started to scramble and break out, and how seamless Marshawn Lynch stiff armed a defender while still inside a juke animation. I've slowed the clips down so maybe other people can see what I'm seeing.

The two animations that had me the most excited from the trailer besides where RG3 was sitting in the pocket and scanning the field. I hope to see good things tomorrow.
I just watched the 2013 E3 EA press conference where Cam Weber came out to talk about Madden 25 Next Gen. And when they showed the trailer he said that it's actual gameplay footage meaning not CGI correct? Anyway I think the trailer looks beautiful and if the final game that ships looks as good as this or very very close to this then I will be very happy. Especially considering it's only the first version of Madden on Next Gen.
I hope what ever EA plans to show us tonight will make all of us feel a little more positive about the future of Madden.

Correct, this is the trailer you are referring to:
I think it has been confirmed that the reveal is happening during Monday Night Football. If this is true, it will probably be another sizzle trailer.
Probably, 30 seconds. With the first 10 seconds being the EA Sports logo and Ignite logo. The final 7 being the game cover and release date in fancy 3D text.
Then the actual footage won't be raw gameplay (you know, what we want, EA is very good at doing the opposite of what we want), it'll be some zoomed-in on arm hair, micro second clips of things that tell us nothing about how it'll play.
Temper your excitement gentlemen, we've done this before.
Or its just a press release with the information and trailer with it. Thats what I always expected. Maybe some gameplay too. EA has done direct feed gameplay these past few years. Im not expecting that though. I am expecting a trailer highlighting or say demonstrating each of the new next gen "features"
