The insider is the over aggressive fat girl who hangs out with a group of dimes, and with these ratings she strikes again. Overall ratings are irrelevant, unless the specific ratings are off. So I hope a 95 off aww is what boosted his rating up this high.

Wasnt Ray a 79 in 2k13?

Whats the big deal in 1 point?

And what does Crawford do that makes him an 80?

He plays no defense. He scores, thats it. Ok he has nice handles......and?

I was about to say something similar offense awareness and consistency can drive up the overall. Ray Allen will have a 90+ 3pt, average mid range below average defense, below average vertical and speed, dunking. He will do most of his damage shooting jumpers

An 82 for Eric Bledsoe?

:dead:

This is more of an overall general consensus that Chris Paul is the second or third best player in the league when in reality he may be the second or third best point guard. As how his abilities translate into the game I agree that he is one of the more realistic players and it is fun to score with floaters and to drive and kick rather then cheese. But saying he is the next highest rated player after Lebron is kind of ridiculous.

The only person who deserves a rating higher than Chris is KD no one else.

Could easily argue why Paul is the 2/3 best in the NBA

From his playmaking efficiency (low turnover volumes high assists compared to other PGs) to his offensive and defensive impact (look at the offensive and defensive rating of the Clippers when he's off the court versus on the court and compare it to other guys)

As a scorer, he's amazingly gifted for his size and amazingly efficient. Just look at how well he did vs the Lakers and the Grizzlies. Had it not been for Blake's injury in game 3 and the lacklustre play from Crawford we could have seen a Spurs vs Clippers rematch in the conference finals

The only thing naysayers have to say about him is the lack of team success without ever looking at it rationally. Or baring in mind that it has nothing to do with how good he is individually (for example, the plethora of people that used to say Lebron was overrated because he couldn't carry the Cav team to a championship even though he was doing god like in the playoffs)

Wade being a 92 kind of surprises me.

I guess the devs took into account his injuries plaguing him throughout the playoffs as not a deterioration of his skills as a player.

Thought he would've been an 89, honestly.

Because he still put up 21 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists per game on 52% shooting from the field.

I don't get why people act like Wade is a scrub now just cause he's not the MVP caliber player he once was.

Hate the heat but it cracks me up that people think he's a bum now.

Scrub or not he's still probably not a 92 rating at this point. (IMO)

I like Bledsoe but his offense is middle of the road. There is no way he should have that rating right now unless they boosted his awareness & consistency ratings pretty high.

Same thing I think they did with Harden & Curry (except with their defense) to get their ratings up as high as possible based on their hype from last year.

Do you think Derrick Rose is worthy of a 92 rating?

Why are you not more concerned with how overrated Shump and Jennings are? Jennings especially

# 299 Steve_OS @ 09/19/13 12:11 AM
I merged all the player ratings threads and will continue to update this one.

I think that Shumpert rating proves what I think elite defenders can be ranked in low 80's despite being limited on offense. Shumpert is a bad mid range shooter but shot well from deep and is ranked the same as Bledsoe
