76 is fine for Barnes as long as he plays like himself. Currently, he's versatile and good to average at everything with exceptional athleticism. He just needs to get out there and prove himself with consistent play, aggressiveness, and efficiency this season. 76 seems right given how undecided Warriors fans are between him and Thompson. As long as he had his athleticism and something like Posterizer, he'll be quite effective as he can be in the rosters I use.

I'm being facetious. I obviously don't think all of them really have low durability. But all those guys missed more games than Curry, some on reoccurring injuries as well while Curry played 90 games this season and missed the rest on minor ankle tweaks while having a breakout year, so the "Curry has a 20 in durability" take is ridiculous given how much he played.

Paul missed the same about of games or more due to his pre-existing knee issues as well. And Eric Gordan much more so. But it's easier to repeat the Curry is glass meme because they heard it somewhere on the Internet and he had like 8 ankle sprains last season. Don't get me wrong, Curry does have reoccurring ankle issues. The big worry now is not so much how often they will happen or how many games he'll miss as it is the timing of when he gets a tweak and whether it happens in post season.

Love and Kyrie I'm not really kidding about. Those guys are more injury prone than their reputations suggest.

I think Curry and Harden, considering how drastically different they are in their play styles, are really similar in impact.

They're both combo guards who deliver great offense and subpar defense.

I'd probably take Curry right now since as Sundown points out he doesn't rely as much on the officiating to score his points, but Harden has a little bit more potential for improvement.

Curry had like 6 ankle injuries in 1 season!! takes these 3 out and i might agree with you oh and JC of course
I know. Again, I'm kidding about the guys who just had a bad season. But Curry's only missed a large number of games in one season as well, and it was also due to one singular injury he was recovering from and trying to play on.

Nearly every sprain the last three seasons has been his right ankle. He played on a bum ankle three seasons ago and it never really properly healed. He had surgery in the off season and again tried to come back too early and his eight sprains were all on his bad wheel while pushing his recovery. He was finally shut down, got an extended rest, a proper brace, and has missed a minimal amount of games since. His games missed record doesn't look too different from the other guys with a singular season ending injury, and he's been recovering fine and playing consistently since.

Once again for the third year running Chris Paul is the most overrated player. The dude is a great player no doubt but severely overrated when considering his overall stats and actual accomplishments.

# 267 BQ32 @ 09/18/13 10:26 AM
LOL at you guys thinking Waiters should be over a 77, did you watch any summer league. Basketball IQ is nonexistent.

# 268 jdogg233 @ 09/18/13 10:36 AM
Harrison Barnes is better than a a 76

Cavs are going to be insane, potentially one of the best the game. I'm thinking the Suns will be fun to run with also.

What do actual accomplishments have to do with his rating? He is rated based on how he performed on the court. He is 2nd in assist per game and doesn't turn the ball over much. Elite handles and passer. Steals per game leader, 2nd in steal percentage. Oh he can shoot the ball from anywhere but his three point % was down to 33% last year. He shot 55% 3-9 ft, 50% from 10-15ft, and 50% from 16-23ft, and 89% from the line. Not a great rebounder but not many PG's are especially at his size and there are better at the rim finishers at PG (Rose, Westbrook, Dwill if Healthy). What is weakness size, strength and he can't attack the basket like some of the explosive leapers can?

And he is actually stronger than most people seem to realize.

Its crazy cause Chris Paul is one of the most realistic playing superstars in this game. You can score with him but he really makes his impact by facilitating. All the other superstars who have finishing, deadeye, or shot creator you can just turbo and press x and get a lot of easy points

Allen is 80? For what? Athleticism or defense?

I agree, I think people don't like when their favorite player isn't rated at the top of the top, or if the order doesn't match what they think. I see very few holes in CP3 in 2K13. He couldn't really attack and dunk over multiple people.

CP3, Rondo, Rose, Westbrook, Dwill, Kyrie, and Curry will probably all be 88+. Top tier PG's that will all be able to do something different, and they have their own weaknesses

# 276 Gramps91 @ 09/18/13 03:07 PM
I think these are pretty accurate, though Allen is a bit high.

# 277 Jrocc23 @ 09/18/13 03:08 PM
Ray Allen shouldn't be a 80. Hope that changes real quick.

# 278 hoi514 @ 09/18/13 03:11 PM
it becomes very clear that 2K Sports has nothing to say about this NBA 2K14 on current generation console but a bunch of crap about player's rating. Let's stay tune for next generation news. I do not know what improvement NBA 2k14 as I watched the gameplay other than new animations. AI is still S.T.U.P.I.D and ball handler brings the ball into a bunch of defenders!? Still cannot really distinguish each teams' style of play...

I hope 2k14 for next generation improves tremendously in this regard....

# 279 knick9 @ 09/18/13 03:18 PM
Allen is few points high but I don't even know why they are playing this up if they're using the new dynamic ratings system. These won't matter very much once real-time stats start rolling in...guess it's more tradition than anything.

# 280 Norris_Cole @ 09/18/13 03:53 PM
How can a spot up shooter with below average defense and athletic ability be 80 overall?
