So Rose is rated higher than Westbrook, despite averagin 0ppg last year..... This reminds of how badly they overrated Roy before his first game last year. Guys with no knees and no heart (D Rose) are usually awful. Expect Rose to fall down to Earth (65-lower rating) when he's averaging 12ppg on 28% shooting 3 months into the season

There's nothing to warrant a decrease for Rose. Basically, he's carrying over his rating from NBA 2K12.

Seeing Rose's rating makes me hopeful that Andrew Bynum doesn't totally get shafted.

I realize the two situations are different, but from a very basic they-both-missed-an-entire-season perspective, I'm hoping similar logic is applied to Bynum's rating.

I just realllly want the Cavs to be good in this game again.

would you prefer them give him a 0 ovrl? they had to give him a rating, why not give him the one he had before he got injured. For all we know he could come back nearly as strong as when he left. In which case his rating will adjust accordingly. As far as rose having no heart, the dude has to carry his teams offense now that they have less depth than in previous years. I don't blame dude for not wanting to come back so quick, just to tear another acl, contorting his body through wade and james for a layup, cuz there only real offensive threats (deng and boozer) have gone cold, and now he has to do everything on offense.

How do you come up with that number?

2K can't guess how is Rose or Kobe returning. They will adjust ratings (hopefully) a few games into the season. Just chill.

I wouldn't be too worried, the Cavs are lowkey gonna be a top 5 2K team on release date. Hopefully everyone stays healthy.

Has nothing to do with that. I like the Pacers and the Bulls. I simply think Paul George shouldn't be an 88 (more like an 86) and anyone being a 99 other than MJ just gets on my nerves.

Paul - 92
Gerald Green - 72
Kenneth Faried - 83
Howard - 91

wow Crawford is still in the 80s. His defense ratings better be in the 50s because he is straight GARBAGE at that end.

CJ McCollum - 73

Seems like at least half, or maybe more, of the league's starters will be 80+, so it doesn't much matter.

Another year or two of this and they will have to make drastic across-the-board cuts again.

Damn, that was a horrible post. And he averaged 0ppg last season? For real? Do you even math?

Yup, Austin Rivers scored more points than him last year, how does that make you feel? Though to be fair, scoring 0 points on 0% shooting is basically what he averaged with Lebron guarding him in the 2011 ECF

# 176 DutchMastah7 @ 09/13/13 06:21 PM
He wasn't an MVP for no reason.

Did you miss the part about math? You can't divide by zero.

# 178 RustyBlue @ 09/13/13 10:40 PM
Brook Lopez should be at least 85
