I've played 4 games so far. All American setting with custom sliders. I'm still testing sliders to get the most competitive game. So far I like the game for the most part. I have seen a few strange things, one being I took control of my CB to try and intercept a pass, when I pressed the Y Button (360) My CB warped 5 feet from the WR and it was a easy TD for the CPU. It was a long bomb and those two players were the only two in the area. Only happened once but it was strange.

The other thing that's bugging me is the lag that happens sometimes in the HB when he first gets the ball. It's like he stops for a split second before taking off. The last game played I was the Huskies CPU was the Trojans. I was up 38 - 29 with 1:14 left. The CPU had the ball and no timeouts. It was 4th and 1 and they went to the no huddle and spiked the ball. WTF? Spiking the ball on 4th down. Not impressed with that one. Also some of the commentary is very repetitive.

I've also seen some very cool stuff like the CPU's QB breaking away from my DE and chucking a sidearm pass to a WR. It was cool to see him get out of trouble like that and it looked fairly realistic. Some of the broken tackle moves by HB, TE, and WR look nice also.

Overall the game looks nice and feels smooth. Will be playing all week end and will come back with more thoughts after I play more. I think I'll try playing a season.

Also I can't import my Maine Black Bear team into the game. I'm guessing because it's not the retail version.

Played an unranked match vs Thebleedingred21 and you couldn't tell it was an online game with how smooth it ran.

PS3 version here w the ugly gray fasemasks. Game is good otherwise in many aspects but this is kind of a big disappointment to me considering FSU is my favorite team and they have such a wide fan base.

What system? I played on xbox and all of my games seemed laggy with drops in framerate.

Pros
- I like the graphics

Cons
- After you intercept a pass, your player runs backwards until you can re-adjust from the change in camera view. Really annoying.
- Players fall down randomly and it looks really weird (infinite engine needs work)
- The pre-game is generic and shows highlights for the game that is about to take place
- TD's aren't really that exciting
- Online seems laggy.

Can anyone else playing on PS3 confirm if it is showing in your trophy list or not? I wanted to check out what there was, but I can't get it to show in the list. Thanks.

I was already impressed with the game because of the demo. I still like it, but was worried about people saying how horrid the cpu defense is. On default setting it pretty much is. I made some slider adjustments that I really think are helping out a lot. Lowing QBA and raising CPU coverage is the key. Looking for that sweet spot.

I am definitely not able to run up and down the field at will.

Huh. I've played three games now (all eight minute quarters) and have only scored a total of 19 points. I'm wondering if I'm having a harder time passing because I've been playing on the zoom camera.

Just finished up my 2nd full game. I used Miss.St and I lost to South Carolina 24-17 in a very tight/fun game.

I must say that playing against a none option team felt much better. Although, USCe's QB (Shaw I think his name is) still scrambled for 64 yards on 13 ATT.

I've still yet to see any major glitches. I intercepted the ball inside the CPU's 5 yard line and the ball was spotted correctly. I realize that just because I haven't seen anything crazy doesn't mean it isn't there. Hopefully we'll get a patch soon. In fact, I don't ever recall ever not having a release day patch. Hmmm.

Anyway, on a more positive note, I absolutely love the blocking on kick returns. I've seen quite a few guys get straight lit the **** up and it was glorious.

Edit: so far in my two and a half games I have lost 56-21, 17-0 (quit at the half) and 24-17.

Played my first unranked game against a FSU user. It was kinda laggy but like I said my Internet stinks

Anyway I got the ball first and had a long drive of good passes and runs. He gets the ball and has a big run on first down. I stop his next two, then on third he tries to run a TE out route that would have been left 10 yards open if I hadn't covered it with my saftey but after I took that route away he gets sacked.

He then punts it and quits. Typical

Can anyone let me know what they dropped their CPU QBA down to? I've played three games on Heisman and the CPU has only 4 incomplete passes with 2 coming from one game lol

# 155 The JareBear @ 07/06/13 12:12 AM
I think 10 for user and 15 for CPU is decent place to start

Some more notes from my Unranked game.

Had a play that was awesome but unrealistic. My Qb Jeff Driskel or #6 trucked a D-lineman and a LB on the same play before being tackled. And I mean he knocked both them flat on there behind, but he does have a high break tackle rating and truck rating.

Another play I was running to the right and was going to take off but saw I wasn't going to make it so I decided quick to throw to a Wr a few yards in front of me and my Qb under hands the throw. Like Brett Farve in the snow type of under hand throw, and it looked really sweet.

I'm an offline only player and I've played on Heisman forever. I'm an OK player, but not great. I started a dynasty with my TB school (cupcake roster) and lost 70-0 Alabama.......and I had fun. The CPU missed some throws (on 5 for CPU ACC) and I couldn't get anything going. It played like it should have.

Granted, it's only one game, but it was fun and nothing big jumped out.

Menus are much faster and smoother though I don't care for the tiled look.

I don't think they should have labeled it as a feature, but I am digging the new recruiting. I still don't like they tell you exactly how far ahead or behind you are with other schools and exact point totals, but the recruiting is more fun.

The best part about recruiting is being able to reorder prospects much quicker now. That's a welcome change.

All in all, it was fun so far. I know the presentation isn't exactly what we wanted but more screen wipes, better cut scenes, and I thought the camera shots were much better.

It's not perfect, but it seems to be a step up from last year.

I don't over analyze every fine detail of a video game, so with that said, this is hands down the most enjoyable NCAA title that I can remember.

I played w/LSU.

First game was at home against UVA, just because I hate UVA. I won in convincing fashion, 35-10. I just wanted to get a feel for my running game, and pretty much ran the ball 60-65% of the game. UVA did have about 270 yards of total offense, and over 100 yards rushing combined between their RB and QB. That was the first time EVER that the CPU has rushed for 100 yards on me - felt good, AND most importantly, the game flowed well and felt realistic.

Second game was against Alabama in their house. It was how it should be, it was a dog fight for four quarters, and came down to the final possessions. It was 17-17 going into the 4th quarter. I intercepted McCaron and then drove the ball down to score the game winning touchdown with 2 minutes remaining, final was 24-17, and was just an amazing video game experience.

Online gameplay can be a bit choppy at times, but nothing too drastic.
