Is there any way to change the pre-snap play calling to D-Pad completely? I don't like using the buttons for hot routes etc.

I can't believe the difference in this game.

It looks and plays fantastic.

Coordinator cam is a thing of beauty.

after playing ps3 an 360 versions side by side two things stick out to me,the ps4 version is brighter a lil too bright for my liking which can make the shadows pop out more but look a lil more static as where on the xbox the shadows look smooth,an the ps4 has laggy transitions durin play selection,so far everything else seems about the same

This game is awesome. EA did a great job.

I just lost to Bama 28-0 and I'm perfectly fine with that. All-American difficulty is actually challenging this year.

While I can't(or won't) speak for others, I would totally agree with you on the completely different feel to it. I was playing in a party and we kept mentioning this fact and how different(in a great way) the game just played -

If the ball carrier is on top of a defender he wouldn't be down. That's the Infinity Engine at play. I had a few killer highlights on Madden last year due to the runner spinning off the top of the pile.

I'm playing on all american, I'm 2-1, got my butt kicked by VT...won as OSU and Oregon....

Why am I still seeing the P and the R symbol above some players on some plays? Thought that was only suppose to be on like Freshman and Varsity?

I agree. The player movement sticks out to me more than anything. The change from ncaa09 to ncaa10 was a big difference, but I didnt like ncaa10's gameplay at all.

It comes up while viewing play art, I believe its up all the time on frosh and varsity. (I haven't checked it out yet on frosh or var)

GLITCH-

Weirdest thing happened.

3rd and goal on the 15 with TAM.
I throw down the sideline just before the saftey makes a great play on the ball and picks it off.
The Oregon player lands with half his foot in bounds and half out of the side of the endzone. (obviously out of bounds)
The call was out of bounds- saw 4th down on bottom of the screen.
The refs review it and come out and say the play was reversed. TAM was given a touchdown!!
so, an oregon player caught the ball out of bounds, reversed to a TAM touchdown.
weird...
it worked for me tho. I was playing with TAM

Absolutely amazed at the demo.
So,so much to like, the colors are nice..the overall feel of the game feels waaaay better than last year.

I played my first game against Michigan, and noticed something right off the bat though...
AA default is way to easy,Brax was totally lighting up the Michigan secondary,as there were so many holes in their zone defense....it was actually really....REALLY bad.

So what I ended up doing was leaving the offenses on AA,and putting the defenses on Heisman...BOOM,that did it. Gameplay was immediately better and much more challenging.....challenging,not cheap.

The running has been awesome as well as the passing.

My only real complaints.....

1-no penalties called, even with interference sliders up to 100
2-commentary....dull and lifeless, with the improvements to the gameplay,it's a real shame this area didn't get the same treatment.

Overall impressed, and will end up picking this up and using my teambuilder team.
Good job EA.

Im thinking that's the case this year... at least as of right now. I tried to send the DL to my 360 right from the marketplace website and it says this offer is not available in your region. It's still nowhere to be found on live either for me. Which really really really sucks. Especially given how positive all the feedback is so far.

Played with OSU and lost 13-0 on Heisman. The only issue I had was the qb for Mich threw the ball away back to back plays before the receivers even ran their routes. The sidelines as stated in an earlier post do look pretty bad, the players looked like stickmen on steroids. Other than that, played pretty well. The run game is a thing of beauty now, wasn't being sucked in like in years past.

Well, that was different. Played VT/Alabama, I was VT got run 28-7. That was probably more fun that I have had playing any version of NCAA since 09. Will do a more detailed impressions and post my video later.

I'm a spread option wizard and I enjoyed that ! They've added A TON of new spread options and plays. EA can finally appear to be getting close to what Oregon actually runs Saturday to Saturday. The offensive line during the read options especially the Inside Read Options (IZR's) did Man on Man or Hat on Hat blocking which was great! The other option plays aren't really ran at Oregon and look like something pulled out of an old 2008 Florida Urban Meyer Spread Playbook but nevertheless they will be USED! Enjoyed play Texas A&M I lost in OT 27-21. The CPU was using MONEY PLAYS, now that's good practice for online gaming.

I got curious because I start as a DC and when you're a DC you can't play on offense, so you have to either super sim or watch and the watching is grueling.

Plus I usually super sim if I score with 20-30 seconds left in the first half, and far too often (in 12) the CPU would be able to score a TD in that time, and it seems the same

Can anyone clarify if the broadcast camera is still in?
