O.S.

Okay...Finally the time is here!

In the Vault: O.S.F.M2013 by RidinDwnKingsley
Link to file: http://www.sendspace.com/file/0pdx99

Thank you everyone for your patience in regards to this year's release.

We had one hitch towards the end....and I (we) are hoping that everything is alright with that one member.

That being said... I have to say that this year's group of editors have put together a tremendous effort with this year's version of the O.S.F.M.

I want to thank each and every member participating on the chart and from the work thread... but there are a couple of guys who I just have to mention, that went above and beyond with their effort and support.

yanksdaniel99 picked up quite a few teams that were vacant as we got into the process. It was a big help with him setting up those clubs.

Throwback and Willard76 went above and beyond to help out with multiple teams to work on faces (Willard on top of rating 2 teams as well) and especially down the homestretch when it was getting very tight

... and last but CERTAINLY not least... RidinDwnKingsley who rated multiple teams... as well as doing ALL the exporting and importing of every player for the set AND testing the set for balance.

Thanks to O.S. as well... Steve for allowing us to use the O.S. name in conjunction with the set and the mods who I'm sure dread when this time of year comes around and they have to keep the peace... and keep the threads moving and productive. They do a tremendous job.

Guys... I can't stress enough how I want to thank each and every guy who participates in the process... not just the guys doing the editing (who do a GREAT JOB)... but also the guys who provide input in the multiple threads.

Every year I am more and more impressed at how well this site works together to make this happen.

If you really think about it... it's a truly impressive process.

On that note... I'm going to ask you to think about how much time and effort these guys put in to making this work... and in doing so, deserve a certain amount of civility and respect when commenting on a particular part of the work. All feedback is welcome... as long as you present it in a civil manner.

That's all any of us ask of this.

Again... thank you for you patience and enjoy the O.S.F.M. 2013 Edition!... and

Enjoy The Show!

M.K.

SCEA players that you can edit, I'd assume you could. The players I am refering to are fully editable. They don't have actual photos...

Umm, No they have not been answered. And if you are going to refer to me use my NAME.
The questions were posted in this thread, might of been in middle of you guys apologizing to each other. But they are:
Do we have to edit every teams roster at the end of preseason if we use your rosters so that the Minors go down and no ones contracts get screwed up or is that just an issue if you use the 25 man roster versions?
I am not trying to be rude, so try not to be in return when refering to me
Thank You.

Ok, the rosters out are 40 man ones so they will not screw up the contracts. If you dont send down the players you want down in the minors prior to the season, some will make it onto teams OD rosters.

If you use the 25 man roster, then yes, there is a glitch that messes up the years a player has left on a contract.

If anyone has a little free time....

If you could take a couple of teams and give me the...
(as close as possible)

-AAA roster(the best 25 to go here)
-AA roster(same)

Lineups vs. for the first game vs RHP and LHP for
-AAA
-AA

...and any player that should be removed and replaced
It would probably speed up the process....rather than me jumping back and forth to get them right.

What I do is go to MLB.com and then the minor league affiliate pages....
I bring up
AAA roster
AA roster
AAA schedule
AA schedule(to look at the box scores for the lineups/rotations)
AAA stats
AA stats(in case you have to "fudge" a player up or down...I go with fewest games played or fewest appearances)

I guess go with Detroit and forward if anyone is game.
Thanks!

Just post it here or PM me.

Question Knight, will numbers be changed to reflect the numbers they are wearing in the minors as opposed to the numbers they wore in spring training?

# 829 Knight165 @ 04/10/13 06:40 PM
yanksdaniel....thanks

If you could just tell me who I'm overwriting with the players that need to be created...that would be a big help.

sappy;

Totte made a bunch of # changes....but I don't know if he did all the minor league players.
I haven't been going through them to do that though.

This can cause a lot of problems if they were the same number as another player on the roster. The game seems to randomly assign the numbers when there is a conflict. I noticed a couple MLB players that had the wrong number because a Class-A guy not on the 40-man roster had that number assigned, so the game gave them random other numbers than their prefered ones.

Okay so leaving the spring training numbers would probably be best? & then just change it when they get called up?

Here are the Blue Jays' affiliate lineups.

Spoiler

There are obviously moves coming to the AAA Bullpen, it needs to be cleared up.

Knight, do you want real-life accurate lineups or what the lineups should be for OSFM? Because a lot of these random guys like Austin Biebens-Dirx aren't in OSFM. These are IRL accurate lineups. I can edit this to be OSFM-fitting, though.
