Don't know how much weight this holds, but here's one of the replies on the psblog's comments section:

MLB 13 has been completely re-polished from RTTS to Franchise Mode to improving the graphics.

I hope Kemp is on the cover. I'm eager to know what they added to the gameplay. What new features does the game have? New options?

Yep Sean.

Also feldman,

In the official ps blog post, they said:

Quote:
San Diego Studios has also revamped The Show’s Franchise and Road To The Show modes with expanded options and new gameplay experiences.
Plus, this is the thread on the screenshots, there is talk of the franchise mode in the thread dedicated to the blog entry on the PS Blog.

As far as presentation,, last year was phase one of TruBroadcast presentation, i highly doubt they have no intentions to add to that again this year.

Chill.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but the Tigers belt loops are wrong and the NOB script shouldn't be so straight:

Actually that is a well known thing about this game and it's not isolated to the Tigers. It has to do with the uniform template. There is only one in this game. All the pants have these long belt loops, even the pants on throwback uniforms that had striped, elastic belts. The same thing applies to the Yankees, Red Sox, and Giants. The numbers on the backs of their uniforms are too low in the game when they should be higher because those teams have NNOB. The reason is the template has the numbers at that height because the majority of the teams have their numbers at that height.

As for the NOB, Miggy is in his follow through, which stretches out his name. If his shoulders were relaxed, it would be arched like normal.

I had to post this exact same thing on Uni Watch because everybody doesn't know how this game works.

About this picture, i hope every right handed batter doesnt follow through with 2 hands on every hit to the outfield like Mlb 12 the show, i hated that.

Agreed. Need to be able to select from a variety of follow throughs.

Belt loops? Really? I know when we don't have a lot to go off of, we nitpick, but come on guys...

What really jumps out to me is the fans, they look amazing, and they don't look like the same characters.

If they can't be bothered to improve small things like clouds, grass, and accuracy in ambiance than I have no reason to get this game. It's as simple as that. The PS4 is what I am saving my coins for, not a 60 dollar rehash. I have a very powerful PC with so many games I don't know what to do with them all. That said I am giddy wanting to know what they did to improve the gfx and sound in this game.

Trust me, I'm sure they want all the details perfect even more than we do. They are huge baseball fans and just as we nitpick over the tiny things, they do too. There are limitations to what they can do though given their current hardware. I bet we will see the individual blades of grass once we move to the ps4. So it is not a case of them not being bothered to fix anything.

It'd be hilarious and messed up if SCEA goes through all the trouble to create some new rendering technique or whatever to get McCutcheon's dreads in, only for him to cut them off over the winter.

Not a literal rendering software. I don't even know what that is, obviously. Just saying.

It's about both... let's not act like one thing is definitively more important than the other. Yes, baseball is a stats-driven sport. But, moreso than any other major athletic event outside of maybe college football, it's also an ambience driven sport. The sights, sounds, and overall atmosphere are extremely vital to making this FEEL closer and closer to the baseball we all love.

Besides, I don't get how some of you don't understand that the people that work on stats, gameplay, etc, are NOT the same people that work on visuals and presentation. There isn't any reason we can't improve one and not improve the other.

People, especially on here, seem to have a hard time comprehending that just because something is important to YOU doesn't mean someone else might not have other items at the top of their list. Your wants and needs are no more important or less stupid than theirs. We are all spending the same $60 on this game after all.

I really don't see any of this Nike Logo business you guys are talking about. Just a white blob on the dude's shirt. Maybe he just has a white undershirt under his... uhh... undershirt.

Looks pretty convincing to me, but I would also think having nike branded apparel would also mean shoes, batting gloves, etc. and that obviously isn't the case so far.

Its a little clearer after the image is sharpened

Interesting... If you go to Kotaku's article on The Show:
http://m.kotaku.com/5964770/your-fir...2013/gallery/1

They seem to be indicating that the Kemp and Bautista shots are from the vita version. That would be very impressive if true.

I hope that older Asian lady in the stands who loves pink and her identical sisters don't show up this year.
