NBA 2K13 Updates Court Floors For the Lakers, Suns and Thunder

The NBA 2K13 court floors for the Lakers, Suns, and Thunder have been updated in game to match their new designs for the 2012-13 season.

Other court floor updates should be coming soon, which include the most anticipated Spurs and Bobcats. We could see a few subtle changes in other courts, but nothing has been announced.

(Lakers - Should have a white center court line, as seen here.) - Thanks domidomdomz!

Suns

(Thunder - Slight change, double line in the key is now gone. The difference is seen here.) - Thanks Josh Thomas!

Couldn't be further from the truth. This is why these forums remain active. Different opinions are a beautiful thing, my friend, that they are. But don't let me tell you that when I disagree with you and, therefore, attempted to be made an example of because I'm not perpetually as optimistic as you think I should be about 2k updates.

Not just the line in the middle, the actual court itself is wrong! It looks like they used burnt wood or some s***, it's so dark!

It's not fully correct yet. The court is so dark..way too dark.. and the line on the half court should be white, not purple.

I don't really think the purple/white line is that big of an issue compared to how dark the wood is.. sucks that us Laker fans are pointing this out, as some are asking for another update haha but the floor coloring is wayyy off. I want to be like the Sixers fans and not be "this bunch", interestingly enough I haven't seen a Thunder or Suns court mishap.

Though it may have been just my game but I'm just now noticing the Raptors 3D thing under the basket is also messed up. Not sure if anyone else is getting it or if its been pointed out already.

So I'm guessing you didn't read Simballers post on future court updates on this thread... And don't say you couldn't find it cause you could've used the search option... PP was most likely saying, "Did you even bother reading the thread before answering?" cause I've seen people ask things when their answer was already said...

Uhhhh. incorrect. I suggest you watch the Lakers Vs. Kings game from the 22nd I believe? and then look at Staples Center in 2k13. Way different. If you don't think so, you need to check your eyes.

its not a SUPER HUGE deal, but the court is a tad dark and looks very weird when you play. I'd like them to fix it as well as the center line, but if they don't I will live, and still play the game. There are bigger problems this year, like not being able to change home and away shoe color!!!

Gaming has & is still changing. Patches. DLC. Updates & Community Interaction is what its about now.

Look at what 2k has done this year to bring in random OS Users & Youtubers. All games release updates because all games have certain flaws. The companies made it this way by releasing flawed video games and having to patch them. Nobody made them patch the games. It was their choice because they wanted to keep the customer "happy". Thats how business works...

I understand where you're coming from...
But any business owner knows the business is nothing without the customer. Which is why 2k has moved in the direction it has.
But the complaining is more about "I spend my $ on it I want it right" than it is "I asked for it so I want it" The people complaining are making these companies million dollar companies and they have legitimate complaints for a game that comes out EVERY YEAR.

For the same very small art details to ALWAYS be wrong that ppl on these forums always compain about is something ppl should & need to question to 1)help to make a better product & 2)feel like they're getting their moneys worth. Especially since 2k devs visit this one. Its like they only see what they want.

Its not a big deal to me personally because I prefer the PC version but I certainly understand their concern. A full court update takes more than a line color or a jersey collar update.

Team is aware of the court (Lakers) and are working on other courts etc.

haha So I wouldn't guess if I were you because you would be inadvertently wrong in doing so. I read Simballers post and still choose to be the skeptic that I am about 2k fulfilling everyone's wishes as far as updates are concerned, but at the same time, I appreciate the effort they've given thus far. Nice of you to try to backup for your friend, though (even if you might have misinterpreted his point). Ever think that might be what keeps people away from these forums when they have an opinion that differs from yours? Hmm...
