NBA 2K13 News Post

The NBA 2K13 court floors for the Lakers, Suns, and Thunder have been updated in game to match their new designs for the 2012-13 season.

Other court floor updates should be coming soon, which include the most anticipated Spurs and Bobcats. We could see a few subtle changes in other courts, but nothing has been announced.

(Lakers - Should have a white center court line, as seen here.) - Thanks domidomdomz!

Suns

(Thunder - Slight change, double line in the key is now gone. The difference is seen here.) - Thanks Josh Thomas!

Since the thread is about Art updates and nothing about GAMEPLAY I would say it's the right place to ask about player UPDATES....

I was able to see the new Laker court as soon as I went into a MyCAREER game. Looks great.

Is anyone having a problem with the new Suns home court when the game's starting up? Mine's like glitchy and the floor's not there only mixed colors! Please help! (PS3, Region 3)

Do you guys know if these updates override preexisting rosters? In other words can I keep using the rosters I am and still get jersey/court updates or must I dload 2k's official ones?

I was able to successfully use a roster of my choice with these new updates (including pre-existing). I think these updates fall under the Settings or Profile umbrella, not the Roster.

Now if they could just fix the Nets jerseys and correct the Knicks blue, I'd be all set.

Will my pre existing bobcats association get the new court when it drops or will I need to restart?

Anybody else think the lakers court is too dark?

Newbie question - If I download these updates and I'm in an association, will I need to restart? Or will it just update and I'll be able to continue my franchise?

Edit: Nvm, got the answer from another thread.

Nice. All we need now is the Spurs, Bobcats and Nets to be updated and/or altered. The Brooklyn arena needs the right lighting and floor hues.

Yup it is. I don't expect another update on it though.

Next update - Spurs, Bobcats, and Portland, they haven't had the big double red key lines for the past season and now. (Should look similar to OKC)

as a diehard Lakers fan, thank you 2k.
hey... am i the only one complaining about the wrong midcourt purple line of the lakers court where it supposed to be white??? i guess not... we want realism not only in gameplay, but also in art graphics... my point is if 2k art team can update the courts why not update it completely with the proper details

It is, they've gone back to the 2k11 lakers floor shading by the looks of it which is way off, maybe 2k10 even I can't remember. But it's def way too dark. Please fix it 2k, I'm not usually one to complain. I can live with the line but with it being this dark it doesn't even look like the lakers court,
Thanks
