Once you get a feel for the game it feels really good. I just shut out a guy 20-0 right now, haha.

I'm only getting the Heat when I play though, after about probably over 30+ games I've never had the Thunder. Anyone else having this problem?

I'm guessing Beluba, LD2k and Ronnie2k didn't get my message but it would really be a nice add on touch if they give us different color skins for the scoreboard instead of it always black. If Jay z did that it would be a nice touch to the scoreboard presentation hope they do

I knew eventually I would come around to the controls. Love them. It's a lot more convenient to hesi and dribble-drive with the stick.

Ive been playing it since 10am this morning. The new controls are great, I feel like I can finally get space between me and the defender. Driving to the basket feels much better now, and I feel like I have more confidence finishing contested layups and dunks in the lane. The Kinect seems to be responsive at times, didn't really pay too much attention to it while playing.

Defense is so much better now. Contested shots make a huge difference, seems like no one shot or player is automatic, running towards a wide open shooter can actually give good results, or end up in a foul, just as in real life.

And on a side note, this soundtrack is amazing. I stayed glued to the first menu screen just listening to the music, I cant wait for the final product.

I'm not frustrated with the game. It's just the fact that I'm pissed about what this forum has turn into. A bitching fest smh.
Have you ever heard of the "Rule of 21"? If you want to change a habit, you have to try the new way 21 times before it starts to feel natural. If you keep losing your keys, try to put them in the same place by the door every night for 3 weeks and then it'll start to feel natural.

I can see this being the same way with the controls. Play 20-30 full games (a couple of nights) and I bet the controls will start to feel natural.

About damn time!
I had it with Westbrook and Durant as well, seems like they had a new animation for it too.

I like the demo but I do find the controls a bit sluggish. When pressing Y to block it doesn't respond too fast so it's hard to time the block.

Players seem to jump a bit too high on rebounds too.

Does anyone else feel this way?

Anyone else doing lots of fake passes? Seems like you really have to hold "x"

do yourselves a favor and just use square to operate all shooting, the stick gets confusing.

Stick is easy hold LT double tap RS in any direction you go that way for a shot not complicated, you can even do it out of a triple threat, its real nice lol

Stick still feels far better for me, though I'll be switching to the alternate controls in the retail so the trigger activates the dribble stick instead of the shot stick.

That's a more natural set up for me.

I do feel that way on those both points.

Pressing Y to block might be not too responsive when your player is out of position?

One thing I'm not like is everyone seems to dribble the same and have the same crossovers. I'm afraid when the game releases you won't be able to differentiate Derrick rose from Derrick fisher when it comes to crossovers

Turbo still triggers that glue effect from the CPU, you'll save yourself a lot of headaches laying off of it when doing dribble moves...

It usually takes me about a couple weeks to get used to stick everytime they change it. I can't practice online, so for now I can only use square.

I do! Just when you think you time a block your guy ends up jumping a bit late...

I'm hoping its just the demo but the input lag is quite noticeable....

Lol indeed, few people quit out just because they don't get the heat, lmao.

Also having people leave when I hit the "game winning shot" for some reason, not sure why.
