They showed that you can get court designs in the packs you buy but it looks like the Bobcats new court won't be in the game.

Dwight howard + Dead Eye + Acrobat + Ankle breaker..........? LOL I think I'll pass on this mode here, this will probably be the last mode I play when I get bored with all the other modes and it seems like I'll be more occupied with those until 2k14. They should have called this mode Fantasy Basketball.

It's just one example. Not the be all, end all. My overriding point is that you want players to reflect their actual abilities. I simply don't like having players be able to do things (or do things better) when they shouldn't be able to.

The guys complaining are the same guys that would have 7 footers in crew mode that has dead eye, shot creator, ankle breaker, and every stat maxed out -__-. I see why they axed that flawed game mode.

That's understood. I'm sure it won't stop people from attempting it and actually pulling off a successful sig skill from time to time (which was my original argument for bringing it up in the first place), but it won't be consistent due to ratings.

Not sure why others are getting visibly angered over pointing that out, but yes, it would definitely be a waste of a signature skill.

I dont think you have to wish, I'm almost guaranteed you will see it, and I wouldnt be so sure if I were you as to say how effective and ineffective he would be with these skills.

Last year the game shipped with the wrong courts for Cavaliers and Raptors, they corrected both within a few weeks without a patch using the online data. I'm sure they can do the same this year if needed.

i'm sure 2k is gonna release an update after the game is released like in 2k11 when the cavs didn't have the new court.

People relax....it doesnt matter what signature skill u add to players if the base number for the skill isnt high it still wont be as effective (so if dwight howard has a 3pt rating of 25 and the corner specialist only gives them a 30 percent boost to that) . Now im not sure how much of an attribute boost like corner specialist gives a player i was just being hypothetical, but it only matters if its a skill that player is already decent in. (sorry if someone explained already. I didnt read the whole thread yet but this seems to be the main complaint)

You're more than welcome to give Dwight Howard those Signature Skills, but don't complain when you utilize players the wrong way and cannot WIN against other teams online. It's strategic, and gives you flexibility on how you want your teams to look.

Wow. There is a lot more to this mode than I expected. It looks great, and other than my online associations, it will might take most of my time on 2k13. I may actually like this more than crew mode (I would like both though...)

I removed my comment about D. Howard being assigned corner specialist. It was just a humorous example of the fact that you can assign earned Sig Skills to any player you choose. Common sense would prove that to be an unwise decision. I didn't expect it to be taken so seriously and I don't want to be banned for trolling so let's move on, please.

Exactly. You can hit Dwight with Spot Up Shooter and Ankle Breaker, and I'm 100% sure people that aren't knowledgeable will do it. It may be successful a few times and get a few laughs, but it won't assist you in a win.

I think you need to read back up on the Sig Skills. Corner Specialist doesn't give you a 30% boost, it gives you a 5% boost if you satisfy the prerequisites.

Sounds interesting, but I'm probably not gonna play this mode. Do like how fresh it all is though.

Edit: And just like I thought, Sig Skills won't automatically make players able to do things they shouldn't be able to.

Looking at the great scope of things the addition of this mode is a welcomed feature, I like be given options ... and this surely increases the replayability of 2k13, be it by little or by much.

Interested to see on how the restrictions to make it strategical where implemented and if they ultimately and realisticaly meet their intention ...

Now, looking forward to the prospect of having an association written insight.

I'm not THAT interested in this mode, I mean, I'll probably give it a try for a little bit, but I'll probably stick with Association and MyPlayer. By the way, has anything been done to Association or are we going on a 3rd or 4th straight year of it getting absolutely nothing done to it?
