No Crew Mode For NBA 2K13

During a recent interview with US Sports Down Under, NBA 2K13 Producer, Erick Boenisch let the cat out of the bag, as he confirmed no Crew Mode for NBA 2K13. This marks the second year in a row Crew Mode will not be featured in the game.

still totally disgusted by 2k. can't wait to jump ship if live has crew(yes, i know the gameplay will be worse. yes, i do care about gameplay)

Im sad to see that u will settle for trash, besides if live does comeout and its a xbla game i dont think it will have too many extra features for 20 bucks.....so u dont play basketball at all outside of crew?

uh... yea, i play basketball in real life. how is that even relevant though when talking about the game? the play in real life are easily the dumbest insults i've heard. but yea, for $20, doubt it'll have much. i'll probably just go the year without gaming, maybe gta.

I think they meant anything outside of crew like maybe Adsociation....Team-Up.......1v1 i dont believe she was taking a shot at your personal life, dont be so sensitive dude. But if she was I apologize in advance

nah, it's all good, i just see that as a common insult to anyone who likes crew. "go outside and play real basketball".

2k did have 2yrs to make a working hack free CREW mode. I honedtly think they didnt even try.

If they added CREW mode back this yr. Most crew players would have been happy if 2k just simply improved on CREW from 2k11. Simply fixing the hacked players would have made us real hype even if the servers are still shi.

Online stability? In 2k12 there was no CREW & the online still sucked..
Cant add CREW online but can add My Team, & 3vs3 blacktop. Lol crew was a mode they had b4 not something that they never used before.

Agreed!.... how can they say it was broken? We've found ways around the connectivity by changing time zones or what not. The only problem became was hacked players. 2k actually made strides from 2k10 to 2k11 connection-wise. Then once we figured out the time zone trick it was fine until hackers went wild. By wild i mean putting Obama's face on their myplayer ... ridiculous.

To the people, don't bash IKC as if he was some child or something. 2k has come up with a mode that far exceeds anything in gaming. Besides fifa, they have been the only game to allow you to create a player and use him against other users. That hasn't been done before. Its like the sliced bread concept... you cant introduce bread and then take it away from people because some of the loaves were falling apart... smh.

As popular as crew is (though I've never played it), if 2k doesn't add it in next year, it seems like it would be a very bad move because if they don't, EA will, without question, attempt to create a mode similar to it next year to exploit this opportunity to win back as many fans as possible. Just remember, if it happens, I thought of it first! lol

Would've been sorta-nice-ish to play with some of my teammates, but to be honest, I'm more of an Association guy. Not a deal breaker.

The problem is people already have their mind made up that if there's no crew then the game isn't going to be good which isn't TRUE AT ALL crew wasn't stable and it wouldn't make sense to put a broken mode in the game... crew is not the entire game and i bet half the people saying they won't buy the game will end up buying it... not to mention the reality is crew probably won't even affect sales nearly as much so really won't even matter what people say on here

I can live without Crew mode, but I just wished the had it this year so I can actually play it. I didn't do it in 2k11 because I always do association mode, so I guess I'll have to wait til next year

Crew would make me wanna play online more this year, but hopefully the online is much better than last year's online play

Not having crew is not a deal breaker for me. I'd rather have 2k delay it and get it right then release it buggy. Just check the madden forum and see how disgusted people are with CCM. Its very buggy and should had been delayed.
The way I see it, 3vs3 crew mode on the blacktop is better no crew mode at all.

Can you link me a video where crew looks good? Seriously every videos I have watched that mode looked like a cheesy mess.
