I'm loving it!

The game looks amazing. Better than I expected!

It plays great too. The new attacking AI is a great addition.
I'm mainly an offline player when it comes to sports games and I enjoyed the CPU in FIFA 12, but I can already tell the CPU will play a much better game in FIFA 13.
In 12 I played on Legendary (with slider tweaks) with Full Manual controls. I was thinking of going straight to Legendary in the demo as well but I decided to go with World Class. I have yet to score a single goal.

Just look at these stats (I was Man City);

And that's on 3-minute halves! The CPU is shooting the ball!

I can't wait for this game!

Here are some other random pics from the games I have played;

+ Improved ball physics
+ Ball and players feel more heavy
+ Impact Engine is improved
+ Tackles slightly improved

- No fouls by the cpu AI
- AI again is not passing backwards and makes nonsense dribbles in the offensive end
- Build up play is non existent, midfield play is nowhere to be found
- There's no Team/Player Individuality, all the teams feel and play the same
- Cpu AI still not pressuring the flanks
- The same goals over and over again

Imo EA goes the wrong way again.

Just played another one. I love that the CPU is taking shots from outside the box!

The Impact Engine has definitely been improved. They players go down in a more realistic manner, and overall it just looks much better.
They have also added another sliding tackle animation. It's shorter but quicker. I like it a lot.

And oh, they have added this to the presentation;

7 games so far.Cpu is shooting outside the box sometimes but this is after too much dribbling and without a good angle.I have a cpu player trapped outside the area and he goes 3 times around dribbling himself and instead of passing back or look for a teammate left or right he shoots (!!) with 3 players of my team in front of him.This is bad AI programming.

That's not how my games have looked like. The CPU has been moving the ball really well.

Difficulty level?

# 6 fearwhatnow @ 09/11/12 09:01 AM
Yes, the cpu moves the ball well.Endless forward passing, give 'n go passing all the time.This is not football.For sure it's not a realistic football approach.

World Class difficulty.

I'm not seeing the same thing at all, whatever the reason may be.

Some positive impressions so far and also some troubling ones. Either way can't wait till I get home.

Steve, should we pin a demo discussion thread? Not sure we want a separate one for 360/PS3/PC.

Same. I had to use the website link in the OP to download it.

First thing, I'm 99% sure the demo is set to the "very fast" setting in an effort to get some action out of a 3 min half. I compared the very fast setting in 12 to this and they seem exactly the same, so I'm sure the speed will be toned down in the release version.

Secondly, there is an absolute difference in player skill, and in all facets of the game, speed, first touch, shooting, and passing.

The graphics are absolutely stunning. No other way to put it.

The new features are as good as advertised and absolutely make a difference. No more magnetic feet!

Fouls were called.

A no brainer of a first day purchase for me.

For those on the 360 that can't find where to download it I found it in the demos section under A-Z. Everywhere else would only let me rate it. Downloading now will be back with impressions.

Only nine more hours until I get off work.........

Seriously hearing some good stuff. The not so good stuff should be modded on the PC. Probably getting this for Xbox & PC...and probably won't buy another game for quite a while.

I like it. Playing on full manual "feels" better this year. The ball is even less tethered to the players and enjoy the play. Also, it seems like the CPU is a little more apt to play more of a buildup game and making passing mistakes.
