I don't agree with any type of Clutch attribute or boost or Signature Skill whatsoever. But that's another story.

I would be very surprised to see Melo with any signature skill that has "Hustle" in the title. I could see him with the "Clear Shot" one and the "Microwave" and maybe the "Finisher", but it seems that the "Hustle Points" is probably reserved for people like KLove, who will quickly lay it back up, or Griffin, who will do a put back dunk, or a number of guys who are adept at tipping balls in. I would think most of Melo's will have to do with shooting.

Get this man in a shower and some new clothes because clearly he's been living under a rock during the past 3 years!!!

I can see your vision now.. Your dude is gonna have all 30 signature skills unlocked, you're gonna have pink shoes on, you'll be 7'5, you're gonna pro hop then pump fake your way to the Allstar game then once you've had your fil offline, you're bring that monkey sized primate online to show us how skilled you are....

I'll pass!!!
Replace 7'5 with 8 ft

Two players can have a 99 dunk rating, but that does not mean that they would dunk in the same situation, or even do a certain type of dunk. Lets look at two of the premier dunking bigs in the league:

Blake Griffin:
- 90+ dunk rating
- 90+ dunk tendency
- Signature skills related to dunking are: highlight reel, posterizer

Dwight Howard
- 90+ dunk rating
- 90+ dunk tendency
- (Likely) Signature skills related to dunking are: posterizer

So both of them are good at catching alleys and posterizing defenders. But Blake is more likely to do flashy dunk (windmill, 360, etc) on a open break situation that Dwight. I know we have dunk packages, but we could never choose what dunks they want to do in certain situations.
Thats why I was mentioning new tendencies and ratings, it makes more sense. There may be a Contact dunk rating or flashy dunk tendency. Like I mentioned about the Dead-eye skill maybe alluding to the shots in traffic maybe making a comeback and KD may just have a high shots in traffic rating giving him the Dead eye Skill.

Its like this, I'm thinking there is a new flashy dunk tendency that Blake is rated high in giving him the highlight reel skill in which dwight is rated lower in not giving this skill to him, but by boosting his flashy dunk tendency or rating it would highlight this skill for him but not by simply choosing it just b/c he has a 90+ DUNK rating. Dwight doesnt do flashy dunks like blake does so if a new comer to the game doesnt know this then just by looking at the skills now they know and they could have adjusted it to where if you do anything out of these players character then you wont be successful to much.

Get a clue. You don't average 22+ PPG by only dunking.

been an interesting discussion around why these sig skills couldn't be some kind of slider. I have nothing to interject just wanted to say that, and, I agree Sa1nts....

They did pick the 5 i would've picked had i only 5 to pick out of the batch of skills we know about. Microwave sure would've fit.

And although mike couldn't really be considered a floor general like magic, he made everyone he played with better. Its a shame they don't have something for that too

Please have a closer look at Shaq's first 2 seasons. The game is there.

I suppose his 23.4 ppg, 29.3ppg and 29.3 ppg (ref: wikipedia) in his first 3 seasons were all freethrows? Jumpshots?
If backing down your man and creating a 4-6 foot shot is NOT low post skill/moves, then yeah...Shaq had no low post game

I don't like it at all. Just put it in the game if the little kids want to see it but make it super rare. Don't give player's labels. But of course Diop or Chris Kaman shouldn't make someone fall but I don't like this as a skill
It sounds to me like you are just afraid that you are going to get embarassed, if someone sets you up catches you out of position and hits you with a nice crossover they deserve it. And you will learn what not to do. I drop people all the time breaking ankles is just part of the game you say its unrealistic, but even cp3 has a commercial saying, (dont qoute me) I take care of my ankles so i can break others.

We have a dribbling rating. We have sub-ratings via Abilities that were introduced in 2K12.

There is no reason to have this in the game for 2K13. It is cheesy and immature.

People can fall randomly and rarely by using the Abilities/Dribbling Ratings. Why not just use that, why make the game more arcade by adding that skill?

It is childish. I really don't see how that can be argued.
Ankle breaking doesnt mean you always fall. How is it cheesy? Was it cheesy when AI did it in real life? Is it cheesy when wade does it? I can smell your fear

ratings aren't everything.
