#10 is 94 OVR.... wow these are far too high! Don't care if a few TE's are included.

Not sure why Witten dropped more than 2 points? He was a 96 last season and IMO still runs the best routes of any TE and has the surest hands.

Terrible . These videos are working the complete opposite for me making me second guess purchasing instead of getting me hyped.

Those receivers are so different in playing style and strengths that I'm not sure what the point of ranking them 1-10 is, other than to generate message board discussion. As a Patriots fan, the idea of picking which of Welker and Gronk is a better receiver is kind of perplexing - they're both really, really good at doing their jobs, but their jobs are so very, very different.

I guess that could be said for just about any player ranking, sooo... yeah, carry on.

Yeah the ratings are too bunched together. Andre Johnson should be a 95 or 96. And the 2nd tier of wr's should be closer to 90 than 95.

Hakeem Nicks had a good year and all but elite status?

Just because of their ratings?

# 9 Falconsfan21 @ 08/13/12 12:54 PM

Yeah, TE and WR rankings should have been separate. I'm assuming Gronk is rated higher than Graham due to his blocking skills. I question Vernon Davis being rated as high as he is due to his body of work last season, he played well in the playoffs but if the ratings are based on last season as a whole I don't see him being rated as high as he is.

Wes Welker is certainly a great WR but as Marshall Faulk said "best slot WR in the league". A little disappointed both Jennings and Colston didn't make the top ten, especially if we're going by last season or body of work since they have been in the league both posted superior numbers to Nicks and both were injured for multiple games last season.

Roddy White just chilling at a 94 even though Julio Jones is clearly better than him.

EA Sports, If it's in the game? It's not in our video game...

Probably more due to the fact that we have to live with these ratings going into CCM due to lack of player editing. These rankings would have little effect on consumers overall if we could change them before starting a season. It also doesn't help that Donny Moore can't/ won't explain the metrics he is using to determine the attributes that have a major impact.

I don't understand some of you guys. Its been this way for as long as I can remember. Go look at the ratings for the top 10 WR from last year. The ratings have always been inflated.

Why all the clamoring for Julio Jones, he did nothing last season really

# 15 azdawgpound @ 08/13/12 01:02 PM
they should of did a top 10 for wr's and top 10 for te's or are they saying theres not enough top 10 te's? since they put 3 in top 10 for wr's?

i bet anything if u look @ the ratings from 12 they havent changed that much either just like the qb's and some rb's.

Nothing? That makes no sense. He isn't better the Roddy yet, he just has better physical tools.

Yet Gronk is ranked higher? I hate overalls, I hate the ratings, I...... I hate this.
Easier to get a TE to a 99 overall than a wide receiver. I have no problem with that at all.

# 19 Motown @ 08/13/12 01:08 PM
Brandon Marshall will make a mockery of this list...that is all

# 20 franch1se @ 08/13/12 01:12 PM
I wish they made the lists separate (WR/TE). I wanted to see what Gates was this season.
