Pumped about the damn fine soundtrack that's going to be in 2k13; highly disappointing this was proclaimed by 2K as one of the biggest announcements in 2K history.

OK, after 24 hours, I'm much more relaxed and appreciate this effort by 2K.

OK, actually not, but like others have said, it's a good thing we got rid of that and now ready for some real information/videos to be released.

The tweet Argent made said, "We have one of the biggest announcements ever, if not the biggest ever in the history of 2k sports franchise ever". So that doesn't narrow it down to just NBA. I personally never expected a new NCAA or football game, because I don't think 2K has their licenses. However I am disappointed by this news, not because of Jay Z's involvement, but the hype put behind it.

Okay, now I'm 100% convinced. 2K is Illuminati.

Me? Not at all, didn't expect them to announce any of those either. That image wasn't intended to be taken serious.

I know they tried to hype the news but shouldn't Jordan being in NBA 2K11 be the biggest announcement in 2K's history? It's like devaluating the impact of MJ being in a videogames after years of absence and limited appearances in previous games. plus that he's considered the goat.

Didn't Ronnie2K announce they were going to release some screen shots a while back ago? What happened ...

We don't really need screenshots anyway. Gameplay vids or gameplay info but what are we gonna do with screenshots.

That's what I'm saying. I mean it's pretty much going to look the same, it's how it plays that truly matters.

I didn't never think the announcement was going to be anything super huge in the first place, but you have to admit.. having a person as huge as Jay-Z be the Executive Producer of your game is pretty big. They said earlier that it wasn't a gameplay and it wasn't a new feature so what were some of you possibly be expecting? I didn't really think they were going to bring College Hoops back, and like iClutch said it would make no since for the Basketball department to announce a new football game. Overall, I think it was a pretty good annoucement, just throwing my 2 cents in.

This is getting the reception it deserves. Atrocious. This is an EA Sports level flop in terms of delivering on the hype and being in touch with whats needed to improve the game.

People act like 2k said "We have an update and aren't changing anything else about the game! Enjoy!" Just because they don't announce something in an update, doesn't mean its not getting done! This IS a huge announcement for 2k. As stated, they said it wasn't a new feature, nor gameplay... Lmao at people expecting College Hoops to be the announcement. This is an NBA2K announcement, why would they announce a new game? Anyway, as disappointed as I am in the announcement, it is pretty cool. All thought we've had one or two of those songs in the past games before...

Jay should have Roc nation/good music artists make new songs for the soundtrack. I would of been more excited rather than listening to bunch of old songs which i know i know classics but still...

2k should allow us to customize our menu music because i hate listening to clean version of songs

That is why CNN is covering this story. total fail by 2k to get people to begin talking about their game.

Hmmm, don't see 'Renegade' anywhere on that track list.

Oh, I forgot...

"Eminem murdered you on your own ish."
