Usually before a big game you can hear the crowd roar an go nuts a couple of times while the Commentators are doing their intro
Yeah, can't wait for the audio blog. I hope they really went to work on the crowd.

For **** sake's EA,why can't you put mouthpiece's in the game. I'm a Giants fan and it's frustrating to see Victor Cruz on Gameday have one on and then not be able to pop in a game of Madden and equip him with one. WTF!?! how hard can it be to include an option to equip a player with one? You had them in the PS2 days!!!!

On a another note fix Justin Tucks face in the game, as in put his actual face in the game along with JPP'S. Tucks been in the NFL since 2005 and is one of the prime playmakers on the d-line, it's bull**** how you guys are the only company that can make a NFL football game but not have the player models right!!! There are lots of examples i can give here cough (88 Nicks) of players on other teams, but the post would be too long. Fix it Madden devs damn!!!!

Actually, there seems to be some.

Gedden provided a kick-off return on Youtube, two players falling to the ground running into the tackling area.

I'm starting to believe that EA could show an actual NFL game and say it was Madden and still have people find things to complain about.

No it's still not perfect but we have seen two years in a row with huge improvements to the game. They are on the right path, start looking at the positives.

The only part of the video that I really disliked was at the 2:31-2:36 mark. Hopefully, route mirroring is completely eradicated by the time Madden 13 ships.

Even with the crappy cam audio, Michaels talking, an the SNF theme blasting you can stil hear that crowd getting nasty
Yeah, I like their footage at the beginning. Watching this makes me want Al and Chris to announce the games. I just wish they got this technology a year earlier, as I much prefer Al and Gus over Nantz and Simms. Can't complain though if they do a solid job. It's just ashame they couldn't cater the announcing abilities to Chris' and Gus' strengths as commentators.

If they could somehow in the future get: Al and Chris for SNF games, Gus and Charles Davis for Fox Games, Jim and Phil for CBS games, and Mike Mayock and Nessler for NFL Network games, it would be insane. What am I talking about though. Too much work and will never happen. Let's get this one right first though!!

The presentation looks like it has continued to improve. The game play still looks robotic and choppy. Where is Drew Brees looking after snapping the ball in the beginning of the video? The grass?

It looks like the same old madden to me. Just a few minor improvements, but still clunky as all heck. The O-Line/D-Line interactions still look like crap. Classic Patty Cake win/loss interactions. If the defender didn't shed his block, he is stuck in place until he does win, or gets knocked down... or the play ends.

Can't stand the way the game animates. There's next to no player individuality conveyed, or natural-looking movement overall for that matter. Still it's a lot better than previous Maddens. That and the seeming same ole same ole OL/DL interaction may be a major drag on the game. Seems like they managed to get rid of much of last year's sliding. Player models still have a somewhat wonky look, but they may be able to clean that up some since it's so early. I know it's still early but the pregame commentary is sounding extremely generic. Still, it's an improvement on last year's

They won't be overhauling line play, but at least they have a former OL trying to fine tune from Pre-Alpha to the Beta stage the OL.

I will say, I didn't see many OL standing robotic wondering where they were.

there is a reason most companys don't release pre alpha game play because people beat it up ....you guys ask for early game play and did bash it ....well duuuuu it not done.

# 33 EAGLESFAN10 @ 04/25/12 11:32 PM
@ultralow36 ur right no matter what they do 2 improve the game some people wont accept it

if madden was NFL2K13 and had the same flaws SOME people would be calling it the best game ever just because they see 2K

He was looking at the WR the entire time and cut as the receiver cut. What's the problem?

For the majority of this site, this simply isn't true. I hate seeing this comment being made.

I don't think Roman Harper should react so quickly.

Yes he was looking back and should be able to make that play IMO.
No doubt.
