Okay guys...

Here is the Spring Training version of the Operation Sports Full Minors for 2012, for MLB 12 The Show.

This initial set looks really tight... and there is some FANTASTIC work done on these. Dare I say... the best set yet.

There are too many to thank for this... and I will come back and fill out this post with all those involved, as I know you guys want to get your hands on these and start your franchises.

Here is the link for the OSFM ST v.1They will be up in the Vault momentarily...
  • File name: O.S.F.M. SPRING
Thanks for all your patience... and most of all enjoy!!!

I just want to thank some people... and I have to say... this community is truly exceptional. Operation Sports is simply the best run website I visit. Bar none... and the members that frequent here are one of the main reasons. Good people attract other good people.

In no particular order... I really need to thank all of the people involved in the making of this set... as this is a true community effort and without all of these guys, it would make the process much harder and much, much longer.

Thanks to:

I'd like to thank ksig24 for his insight and input into the potential base for the set...

... and last but CERTAINLY not least...
RidinDwnKingsley...

Without his TREMENDOUS work and the immense amount of time that he puts into these rosters... they would have taken 3 times as long to do.

I CANNOT say enough about this, as his dedication and sheer bulldog mentality to get it done, means so much to these.

Also to Steve... the owner of O.S. and the mods on here who make it easy to keep the threads in order and viable to use in conjunction with the set.

...and of course thanks to the entire O.S. community for all the input that you guys have been putting into these for YEARS!

THANK YOU!

Guys.....a lot of people have requested to give back in response to these rosters. They offer thanks and several have offered money.
I suggest charities if you really want to do something as a thanks to these.

My suggested charities....The N.Y.C. FireFighters Burn Center....Wounded Warriors....or .....http://www.extra-life.org/

Thank you!

Great job as always Knight & co. Been a huge fan of your rosters for a few years now, and I'm eager to get my franchise underway with these ones. One question though...no Delcarmen or Doug Bernier on the Yanks? Does anyone have them created by any chance?

Also, Jorge Vazquez was just recently released by the Yankees, but i don't see him in the FA's or on the Yankees. Is he in this set at all?

And who are these guys like Tanner Dobbs in the FA pool? just random generated players or were they included for a reason?

I know i've said it before guys but thank all of you so much for this fantastic roster.

On a lil' more specific note, thank you so much to whoever made Norichka Aoki. The guy is just crazy money in PH situations.
Just finished the 6th game of my Brewers chise(4-2), and the guy has PH in every game and has 4 hits and 1 walk so far. Nothing deep or extra bases all his hits were singles, but having someone I really can depend on off the bench is really nice!!

Also this is not a complaint or anything like that so no one get crazy I could never possibly complain about these rosters. But I always like to do some reviewing of the prospects on the team I decide to use.
While I was researching the Brewers prospects and looking at video of Peralta,(who won the 5th spot on my rotation in ST) almost all the video I saw of him he wore his socks up. Again i'm not complaining just stating it for anyone using the Brewers.

Thanks again for all the hard work!!!

Hi,

Having downloaded the file, is there a way to transfer the roster from to Vita via USB? I'm in Europe so can't use the vault. (I'm currently looking through the thread to see if someone has posted this already...just being lazy! )

# 464 rodders @ 04/06/12 07:30 AM
Ah...someone else did post the same question a few pages back. So, for those of us on vita who can't get online, can anyone be kind and post the vita file? Thanks!

# 465 Knight165 @ 04/06/12 08:16 AM
Guys...

I myself haven't transferred rosters onto the Vita....only a cloud save of a franchise file...so I'm not sure what you might need for that.

Hopefully someone who has done it can answer it for you.

I'll get to that eventually though!

I can't wait for the next installment so i can restart my chise.. The chise i started when i first got the game is ready to be dismissed lol.

I started as the Yankees, and started off at a hideous 14-31. Terrible i know. This is the worst i ever started off in a game. But i am THRILLED that it is this competitive. Usually after 45 games i would be something like
38-7. And be way out in the division with no real fun.

Here is my division as of now

1) Baltimore - 23-21
2) Toronto - 20-23
3) Tampa - 20-23
4) Boston - 17-27
5) Yankees - 14-31

So still very much in it. But the problem has been with my hitters my pitching is dominant, but keep getting losses 1-0 2-1 3-2. Poor Pineda is 0-7 with a 1.13 ERA and 87 SO

Yeah, I saw that Delcarmen didn't make it, I'll upload him to the player vault. I've also worked on a Bernier that I'll upload (fair warning, faces aren't my strong suit). ARoid1313 has a nice Jorge Vazquez in the vault, I think the author is something like clk44.

The beauty of these rosters was on display in my RTTS career last night, when I homered off Ramon Lebron, a pitcher I saw hit 101mph on the gun in Grand Rapids last season.

Thank you for this.

Yes!!

Figured out how to get the roster onto a Vita, IF you are overseas (but this means setting up a US PSN account).

Now, I knew you could do this anyway, but I have found out YOU DO NOT NEED ANOTHER MEMORY CARD.

So, the process is:

2) deactivate the system: Playstation network -> system activation -> game-> deactivate (this is VERY important)
3) sign out
4) Restore the PS Vita system: Format ->Restore the PS Vita system
when the system asks to format the memory card just press NO.
5) system restarts and you can sign in with another account.
save games of each account will be stored on the same memorycard.

So, for The Show, if you are outside the USA or Canada (i.e. can't get the online pass to work) setup the game on your 'home' account. Then, do the above procedure, THEN start the game on the US PSN account, activate online pass, download roster and save.

THEN do the procedure again, go back you your native PSN account (I'm in the UK) load up the show and you can then used the saved OSFM roster.

It's a pain, but less of a pain than losing your data from the memory card. Took me 20mins overall.

Hey guys, first let me say THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to this roster set. It's simply amazing, I just want everyone to know that your countless hours of work are greatly appreciated! Thanks for making The Show the best video game available yet again!

One small thing I noticed while scimming through the rosters is that James Mccann of the Tigers has everything possible listed for his secondary position. I'm assuming that is a mistake, obviously not something I can't fix myself. I just thought that I'd point it out in case you guys want to clean it up for the next version.

Speed progresses the same as other attributes correct? I don't need to set speed to "MLB levels" right away correct? Guys will get faster as they reach their "peak"?

Ok I love the rosters but here are two observations that NEED to be looked at:

1. Dustin McGowan (TOR) is making $20.4 Million
2. Nick Hundley (SD) is making $8.0 Million

I don't understand how it happened but it does sorta bother me.

Thanks guys for the hard work

Once again, these rosters are amazing! Thank you guys, this game is so much better now. And when you can make a great game like this so much better, that's really saying something. Great job, and thanks again!!

Sorry if this has been asked and answered did a search and I didnt see my question.. First off thank you Knight and all the others who truly make this game beyond special with all your work. My question is....is there a way to get the real pitches the pitcher throw with your roster set or do I need to wait till SCEA releases their rosters...I know there is a whole thread on pitch edits.....example with Knights rosters, Cueto doesnt have a 2 seam fast ball and that is his out pitch.....just curious

Thank you in advance for responding

I'm new here, so I have a few questions... When I download the file from OS to my usb card, I'm not finding it when I plug it into my playstation. What are the proper steps when downloading the file then trying to add the to the ps3 for use? Thanks in advance, I look forward to using, what seems to be a very popular roster update.

is there a 25 man roster version of this set available yet?

i think that's the one where you're able to jump into a franchise and lineups stay as is....?

The file saved on the usb card is a RAR file.. not sure if that's why I'm running into this problem.
