Okay guys...

Here is the Spring Training version of the Operation Sports Full Minors for 2012, for MLB 12 The Show.

This initial set looks really tight... and there is some FANTASTIC work done on these. Dare I say... the best set yet.

There are too many to thank for this... and I will come back and fill out this post with all those involved, as I know you guys want to get your hands on these and start your franchises.

Here is the link for the OSFM ST v.1They will be up in the Vault momentarily...
  • File name: O.S.F.M. SPRING
Thanks for all your patience... and most of all enjoy!!!

I just want to thank some people... and I have to say... this community is truly exceptional. Operation Sports is simply the best run website I visit. Bar none... and the members that frequent here are one of the main reasons. Good people attract other good people.

In no particular order... I really need to thank all of the people involved in the making of this set... as this is a true community effort and without all of these guys, it would make the process much harder and much, much longer.

Thanks to:

I'd like to thank ksig24 for his insight and input into the potential base for the set...

... and last but CERTAINLY not least...
RidinDwnKingsley...

Without his TREMENDOUS work and the immense amount of time that he puts into these rosters... they would have taken 3 times as long to do.

I CANNOT say enough about this, as his dedication and sheer bulldog mentality to get it done, means so much to these.

Also to Steve... the owner of O.S. and the mods on here who make it easy to keep the threads in order and viable to use in conjunction with the set.

...and of course thanks to the entire O.S. community for all the input that you guys have been putting into these for YEARS!

THANK YOU!

Guys.....a lot of people have requested to give back in response to these rosters. They offer thanks and several have offered money.
I suggest charities if you really want to do something as a thanks to these.

My suggested charities....The N.Y.C. FireFighters Burn Center....Wounded Warriors....or .....http://www.extra-life.org/

Thank you!

hey guys, i dont know if this has already been said, but i am doing a franchise with the dodgers and Zach Lee, the number 44 prospect on mlb is not on the dodgers but the royals and i do not recall making a trade to the royals so just an update, but thanks for the rosters the prospect and minor league players are incredible. also another question, were any rating changes made to players? because i feel as if matt kemp is somewhat underpowered

If you press Triangle and then 'Display All', that should solve your problem

Has anyone posted the players that will begin the season on the DL?

Also, with spring training, I would rather not control all teams and have to make accurate 25 man rosters for each team, is there a roster that comes out to fix this or does it have to be done manually?

New to this, thanks!
I briefly went into the franchise mode. I noticed that the star players that was put in Single A are on the big clubs. Which is cool with me. This game doesnt allow you to put players on the disabled list, unless it happens while playing Franchise or Season.

Also Harper has that kind of potential. I remembered last year in the Show 11'. Harper got traded to the Twins. He was the CPU Twins starting RF. I think he hit for .280 with 25HRs. So what you should probably be doing; is trying to get him on your team.

Always worth the wait.

Let the 2012 Miami Marlins franchise.....begin!

World Series or bust!

Thanks to every single person involved with this project. I am amazed at the time and dedication all the roster makers across all the OS subforums put into providing this community with hours and hours of realistic sim fun.

It is a gift all should appreciate every year. I know for myself I could never do this sort of thing. So to be able to get this roster set along with the classic rosters (JMeyers and his crew with the steller 1987 full minors set to name one) is a treat and a privilage.

Here is to another great year of The Show!!!

I'm having the same problem. Mine wont show up off the USB on the Ps3. I pressed triangle and it wont even give me the option to "display all" it just says information and then says how much free space I have. :S any solutions ?

Downloading off the roster vault isn't an option right now, don't have internet at home.

I just checked and he's on the Dodgers for these rosters, so they are right.

To the guys having a hard time with a flash drive, make sure your roster file is saved under folder structure PS3/SaveData. Easiest way to make it work is to save a file onto the flash drive from your PS3, that will give you the proper file structure.

did you name the PS3 file in caps? put a SAVEDATA file inside that thats also caps? Then did you drag the os roster file into it? make sure you didnt spell anything wrong like i did for NHL lol. good luck hopefully that will help you.

First of all, a massive thanks to the entire crew who made these happen. All of you are legends.

Question though. Are we going to get instructions like in previous years about how we should set up our franchise's settings and stuff so that the CPU teams don't ruin rotations/lineups and make dumb trades?

Or are we basically on our own this year. Just download the roster, start a chise and do what you want? Is the CPU logic fixed this year?

Or, of course, is there going to be a franchise file coming soon?

Sorry if these have been answered in the thread but it'll be really difficult to go through 36 pages to find the answers.

With this Roster have lineups that stick or will we have to do all teams for franchise?

# 357 nlafave @ 04/04/12 05:29 PM
First time using these rosters (THANK YOU), but I'm curious why 99% of the players in the league are on 1 year contracts? Any insight is appreciated!

It won't even appear on the load roster screen. You can't use this year's roster file with last year's game.
