And before you complain about why hasn't X player been added/moved yet:

SimBaller: Just to reiterate what Will said above, just because you can post a link saying that Player A signed or Players B and C were traded for each other, that doesn't mean we have league approval (yet) to process the move.

All contracts and trades need to get ratified by the league before the transaction can take place in our game. It's very, very rare that the league intervenes on a signing/trade, but we saw that last week with the CP3 trade. It can happen.

We chose to do frequent small updates to give you the goods as they come in rather than waiting until the season starts. This means another roster update is always right around the corner with the latest transactions.

You should be lucky you even got a roster update.
Smh...Can't give 2k this much leeway. Certain transactions that were made well before should have been in this roster update. Point blank period. That's all that really matters.

Not saying the next won't have the new transactions.
But I don't see why all the most accurate ones aren't already there.
Specifically Odom & Arenas off the simple fact 2k has been very lackluster due to the lack of season.

Its no big deal. But the principal as a fan of the series is.
Still the best Basketball game though. lol

This.

This thread is way to early. The 2k roster, like the NBA roster will be changing constantly for the next couple weeks.

Say what you want about 2k but they have always been pretty timely with roster updates after trades and signing become official. I'm sure this year will be more of the same.

See you guys in a couple weeks.

If so this guy should be REPLACED. We have members in our very own community who do a much better job hands down roster editing. It's mostly due to sh!tty player attributes, coaching profiles, playbooks and tendencies why we're experiencing tons of personnel issues in game.

VTCRB could put the insider out of a job as well as some other members of our 2k community

Wow, so this roster update may have sucked, but who cares. A LOT of teams only have like 8 guys on their roster in real life right now, were you really planning on starting your associations with an 8 man team? I mean, there's going to be so much more movement up until christmas that it's kind of silly to hope that they will get the updates right before then. As long as I have correct rosters once the season starts, I'm fine with crappy updates until then.

They really should have just waited until the first preseason games started to release an update. They panicked and rushed it. It never made sense to release an update this early. It would be like EA releasing Madden the day after the draft or something.

Oh right, thanks for reminding me. Pre Season is like less than a week away

When I started the game today (on PS3) I wasn't prompted for any updates. Am I doing anything wrong?

Thanks

It updates by itself

I am with YouKnow, I am not sure if 2KInsider is actually a person and not a gimmick. Well I am sure it is a person that does the rosters but I doubt it is the Stephen A. Smith looking character that is animated onto the disk. I just don't understand why 2K keeps allowing their piss-poor rosters (ratings/tendencies) to bring down the Human/CPU experience. They don't even seem to care.

They didnt even make changes to thing team colors like white shoes for the bulls or even worse adding rip to the bulls which was done before mike bibby signed
If your saying the bulls home shoes and socks should be white your wrong they wear all black both home and away thats the best thing about this years game is being able to make derek rose look authentic

What players were added? I'm not seeing any changes to my roster.

# 75 smcamp3 @ 12/12/11 11:10 AM
Hey does anyone know if there are other rosters out there that are better? all I see is people complaining, so what is better?

# 76 sandman0823 @ 12/12/11 11:11 AM
I am ok with the update from what I can tell they are trying to start utilizing the nba today auto update feature which means more updates to come regularly which probably caused the set back over the weekend. We see now that it works so lets see how long it takes for updates to roll out consistently.

No you are wrong. During the regular season they wear white socks and shoes at home. They wear the black socks and shoes at home during the playoffs.

some of guy's r lifeless idiots. Complain, complain, and complain. Take what you got until you recieve better. Jeeze the free agency just started friday, so make the roster move yourself. And wait for more rookies. R kill yourself over a video game.

I disagree with that statement completely. Im going out on a limb here in saying a large percentage of the people who are part of the OS community are just like myself.. Sports gamers who demand the highest degree of realism. I am a Cavaliers fan for instance, so you would think that this update today would be enough for me, right? Wrong. I can't start my Association until all the rookies are properly added because I will constantly be going to the "Rookie Report" and seeing K. Irving at the top with essentially no competition!
