YES! I've been waiting a long time for this in 2k.

I just hope it works. 2K online track record has not been solid.

No sliders? I would be amazed if you couldnt do custom sliders. If anything they should add the foul sliders and all the other sliders they left out from last years online league because now they have cpu teams etc.

although & i am EXTREMELY interested in this online association & it sounds like a ground breaking feature... i am VERY dissappointed in the fact that we we STILL have ABSOLUTELY no info on OFFLINE association... furthermore, it looks like we got ABSOLUTELY NO changes to it other than tuned stats display... smh!

I'm trying not to be negative (because i love the offline association too) but I am a bit nervous considering we haven't heard anything about it. I'm just thinking there was SO much added with the Greatest mode, online association and My Player that they wanted to appeal to the masses by releasing info about those and then maybe they made some minor tweaks to offline association. **Fingers crossed**

am not that hyped about this mode at all but am glad that others are interested and loving the sound of it..very well done of 2k to get every kind of nba 2k players something to look forward to in regards to offline players, user vs user kinda players, online players, and now online association for players who love that kinda game mode...hope association guys have fun with this mode

Been a competitive and mainly online player (95% of the time) ever since i played Socom II on ps2, so this is just great news.

My only concern is the Coaching Options??

- Will i be able to set up my playbooks how i want.
- Set certain plays for certain players
- Mix & Match plays

This will help me to build my team the way i want, and coach to the strengths of my team, not necessarily run triangle offense just because i have a team that runs triangle.

Is it possible to play online association with a friend(s) on the same team?

I have 5 buddy's who are all about to join me in a NBA utopia where we get to pretend to be g.m. And superstars simultaneously!

If that does not excite u, then u either don't like basketball or don't have friends. In either case, my player mode sounds like your 2ktopia. Have fun with that, but please chill with the negative Nancy responses. Sheesh
I have friends that play nba 2k. I have been playing and watching basketball for 17 years. I love basketball. I'm not excited by this mode though. Everyone is different. Doesn't mean I don't like basketball or have no friends because I don't care about online association.

Reading this brought tears to my eyes. Genius, pure genius. Only thing im worried about is the servers holding up. Besides that, 2k has outdone themselves another year!

A lil off-topic, but do is that "On The Move" Insight the last insight before release day?

# 99 DoWork @ 10/01/11 09:39 PM
That sucks if you can't play online association with a friend(s) on the same team. With crew removed I wish there was something else besides teamup to be able to play on the same team with friends.
