if i delete the patch and play with it like that how can i get by everytime of playing it not seeing the update come up everytime when i start the game
I have a solution, not great but still a solution.
Let's say you run a play from Shotgun: Trips HB Weak and you press triangle. Well we all know that the same formation and set will show up on screen, yet the plays you see will be for whatever the first set is in your particular Shotgun formation (we will assume the first set is NOT Trips HB Weak). The solution is after you press triangle scroll until you see any set that is different from the previous set you used, but still in Shotgun. Pick a play (mind you the plays will still be from whatever your first set is, but no matter) and then press square to to quick audible. From there you can choose PA Pass, Run, Deep Pass and Quick Pass. This is common knowledge, but the good thing is you will run the play from the same set as the previous play and not be forced to use the first set of the Shotgun formation.
This should work for all formations. Please give feedback. Thanks.
I only have 3 questions
1) Is it necesary to delete the #1 title update before dowloading the #2? Or it can be overwritten?...
2) The patch will appear when you start the game? Asking you to install it?
3) After i install the patch...can i use a named roster made by someone before the #2 patch was released?...
Thanks a lot !
Basically the same type of thing that the other guy posted above. I know it goes out of view, but just imagine the two LB's and Safety sliding the exact same way all throughout the play (unless they got blocked). Something is causing this that doesn't happen on every play.
That's not the weirdest thing about this play though, the summary reads like this:
" T. Glover incomplete pass. Intended for J. Veney" Huh?!
(they're fake names because I'm not using the named rosters, but that was anything but an incomplete pass...)
Stuff like that happens before patch 2. Whenever it happens for me, I just run out of bounds after a 5-6 yard gain. It isn't an issue with the offensive play you called (or at least not entirely) but with the defensive play call. This is mentioned in the patch notes in a couple places where they said that the defenders who are playing a certain type of zone ignore the QB as he runs by him.
As for the incomplete pass, this is in patch 1 and was in NCAA '11. It's not a backwards lateral (resulting in carry by the pitch man) but a forward "pass." It'll say "incomplete pass" but if you look @ the stats, you'll see that the pitch man didn't get a carry, but did get a reception for the correct yards and a TD reception if it was a TD. Likewise, the QB gets credit for a completion, the correct yardage and a TD pass if it's a TD.

1. yea, most likely.
2. yes
3. uh, not sure, sorry :/
Before I even download the patch. I want to make sure of something as to not irritate myself and I've not seen this question asked. I fit has, apologies and please point me to where it was answered.
I have a roster file. I want a totally different one as the one I have now is rubbish(just names, not updated at all.)
Do I do as I would if I was just going from Roster set A's pre-patch to Roster set A's post-patch? Just getting rid of Roster A pre-patch and downloading Roster B post-patch.
Will it screw an existing dynasty using the first roster set?

Very helpful post, thanks for clearing some of that up. Had no idea this was an issue pre-patch.
But if they said it was being fixed in the patch notes, either they flat-out missed it or there's still a tuner coming... (gameplay fixes tend to come from tuners more often when there's a choice of which method to use).
Still not going into panic mode until the 360 update shows up...
I haven't tested the patch much so I won't criticize much at all. I played a half of a game against Michigan and everything seemed really good. I dunno, maybe I just didn't play enough. I never use no huddle either...nor do I have a custom PB.
No, they just said a patch. They never mentioned a tuner being released.
Your information is incorrect. Ben said in his interview that there'd be a tuner set released the same day as the patch SEVERAL times. And also that it would fix coach progression.
Smoother gameplay, super linebacker is no longer a problem.
Lets not make any verdicts yet. A lot of people said the same thing last year after one of the tuners, only to have the forum erupt into more complaints about it a week later. Same for psychic DB's.

People ready stated that super linebackers is non existent now

Placebo? Everytime a new patch comes out people say a lot of things have changed that weren't mentioned, 95% of the time it's just the placebo of a new patch
So the five offensive and two defensive playbooks I spent hours and hours and hours designing and perfecting, getting the exact plays I want/use in there, will now need to be redone. And from the sound of it, a number of formations I use, including Wildcat Spread, can't be added now. So now I'll have to decide between using a base playbook for the wildcat or for the goal line. (EDIT: And after reading more, sounds like I Tight, all Wildcats and SG 5WR HB are all gone, as are all the runs in Maryland I... all formations I use. YAY!)
No huddle, which I specifically designed my primary playbook for, doesn't work at all. So the Blur Offense playbook I run with Nebraska and Clemson will be useless because I can't pick different plays out of different formations, which is the whole point of running up tempo. My book was designed so that every formation could utilize my base personnel (3WR, 1TE, 1HB) perfectly. That's out. That playbook took about 6 hours to design and that doesn't even include the handwritten outlining I did to make sure the personnel would matchup formation to formation.
The option works better, which is awesome for me, but it also looks like the option defense got toned way down. As someone who runs spread option and averages 311 yards per game in my online dynasty (which is 50-50 cpu-user v user games), the option defense didn't need to get much dumber.
The dynasty glitches and freezes sound like they are still there, the transfer failed glitch sounds like it is still there, the bowl score glitch sounds like it is still there and the roster tendencies may or may not be fixed (and I may or may not need to restart my dynasty for it to take effect).
Oh and if the last page is any indication, the glitch from LAST YEAR where option pitches were counted as incomplete passes has returned.
