I am hoping the same thing. It would be great if they could just give us an update of sorts and let everyone know what is going on. Certainly they can't be this unsure of a release date for a patch - at least I hope not!

I think we need to ALL start blasting the EA customer service line at 650-628-1001 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 650-628-1001 end_of_the_skype_highlighting 650-628-1001 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 650-628-1001 end_of_the_skype_highlighti

No BS needed. We were told on Aug 2nd on this page http://www.ea.com/ncaa-football/blog/title-update-2

....that we would be kept updated ON THAT BLOG. Well today is September 6th and that blog has NOT been updated since Aug 2nd.

So it's one thing to need a patch. But misleading us about keeping us informed is completely unacceptable.

We DESERVE to know EXACTLY when that patch should be expected FROM EA itself. Why should we have to try figure it out ourselves?

The squeaky wheel gets the grease, unfortunately.

When we get the patch has nothing to do with EA at this point. I just hope when the patch drops that it really is a significant one.

One thing of note: last year on September 7th, NCAA Football 11 patch #3 was released along with Tuner pack #3.

Salt the to the open wound

Best part is they sold more copies out of the gate this year and were unwilling to have to put out a third patch. Thread about some of the freezes has a developer posting they have had a fix for issues for over a month, yet we're still waiting...

And people wonder why everybody is so pissed off about the whole thing.

Wow is all I can say.

I just don't understand why there's been so little post-release support. I mean they implemented Live Tuner Packs to update certain aspects of the game more frequently and more quickly. They simply haven't followed through on that. The NHL series pioneered tuner packs, and since they've put it in the game they've released four or five tuner each year. It's been a tremendous success.

One of the most disappointing things with the game this year is the lack of tuner sets to fine tune the gameplay.

As I've said before, and will continue to say, this is why it was foolish of them to release that blog when they did. It was an even bigger mistake to imply any particular release date. When something goes wrong, and it often does, you get people feeling like they've been mislead.

Calling them now is pointless. They said last week that Sony/Microsoft had the patch for certification. It was then out of their hands. Some folks here just decided that that process would or should only take one week. Maybe it will come out later today, but having an expectation that is would, instead of just being hopeful, wasn't the logical read.

The man should be taking effective communication courses, and most certainly needs to learn how to appreciate his customers.
Unfortunately, his primary purpose is to make a game that sells as many copies as possible. They sold a lot more this year than last. As far as EA suits are concerned, he is doing his job effectively. Until they start losing money or sales trend downward for a few years he is a "success" in their eyes, regardless of how frustrated with the game we become.

This actually doesn't hold true if they sell more games, but end up with 5 times as many customer complaints because of the quality of the finished product people expected when they purchased in record numbers this year.

The waiting on approval is taking too long. How do we know if MS or Sony rejected it and sent it back to EA?

How much longer do we have to wait for this patch to come out? Online dynasty is a mess, The game was released on the July 12th and it is now September 6th and this is unbelievable when you sit back and think about it.

It'll probably never be announced if that happened.

How do we know they actually sent it to them in the first place?

I would think it would be a large priority for xbox and ps3 with how well know these problems are by now and by how much people are complaining. However, that is just wishful thinking.

Honestly at this point i think for a lot of us EA is already too late. Basically there are so many amazing games about to hit, and with real Football starting i think EA missed a golden oppurtunity. If your a sports gamer you will probably be playing Madden and then NBA 2k12 when it hits. If you just an all around gamer like me, then you will be picking up Gears 3, Battlefield or COD MW3....whos gonna have time for NCAA. Most of us have already given up on NCAA at this point, and by the time we get our hands on these better products NCAA will be an afterthought. My buddy and i have a dynasty and we are waiting on the patch. But now that i have started seeing NBA 2k12 info and MW3 video I honestly dont care if i play another NCAA game the rest of the year. Sorry EA, you had your chance but you blew it.
